Best girls name from our choices?

Layleah · 25/08/2019 12:54

My DH and I have whittled down our choices of names. So we now need help in choosing the one! We have a combo of old fashioned and modern names but feel most of our choices are non conventional.

So far we like
Liberty
India
Madison (or maddison)
Sienna
Autumn
Adelaide

My question is which one is your favourite?
Please be kind. Also are any too out there? Hmm

Adelaide :)

MollyHuaCha · 26/08/2019 00:32

They're not my style, but if pushed I'd say Autumn or Liberty.

Eustasiavye · 26/08/2019 00:21

I like India and Adelaide best.

RoseMartha · 26/08/2019 00:18

I like Liberty

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 26/08/2019 00:17

Really love Autumn.
Like India and liberty.
Dislike the others.

DramaAlpaca · 26/08/2019 00:15

If I was choosing from your list, the one I like is Sienna.

Muddlingalongalone · 26/08/2019 00:13

Have you considered Cassidy? I think it fits well with your choices style-wise and I love it as a name!

Muddlingalongalone · 26/08/2019 00:12

I like Liberty, (although Abbey Clancy & Peter Crouch have 1 aged around 7-8 if that bothers you?)
Also like Madison but v unpopular on mn. Usually called a stripper name - v unfair imo.
Jury's out for me on Autumn - my logical brain says it's not a name it's a season but Autumn Philips has always seemed like a good name.
Don't like India or Adelaide at all and Sienna has been super popular here for a while now - always one wherever you go.

IncrediblySadToo · 26/08/2019 00:11

Ok you don’t seem to want to know what people think of them, so I won’t say anything except if u had to chose from that list I’d choose Maddison

Sophronia · 26/08/2019 00:01

Adelaide is by far the nicest.

Astronica · 25/08/2019 23:59

I love both Autumn and Adelaide. Beautiful!

diddlediddle · 25/08/2019 22:54

Adelaide is nicest, and has a decent amount of history to it. I like it.

Autumn, India and liberty are ok.

Sienna is quite popular. Madison is dreadful.

Starryskiesinthesky · 25/08/2019 22:37

Liberty or Autumn.

Pixilicious · 25/08/2019 22:36

Sienna is ok. The rest are awful.

Love India, and Indra. Not keen on the others tbh

joystir59 · 25/08/2019 19:33

Liberty is awful

TildaTurnip · 25/08/2019 19:21

Love Liberty. Like Madison the least.

Ellabella989 · 25/08/2019 19:20

Love India and Sienna. Not keen on the others

RortyDogOfTheRemove · 25/08/2019 19:20

I detest Mad(d)ison.

Of the ones you have suggested, I'd say Adelaide.

BrutusMcDogface · 25/08/2019 19:17

I love Adelaide, and as a pp suggested, Adeline; I absolutely adore the short version “Addie”. Couldn’t use it as we have an Adam in the family, but definitely would have if we didn’t!

Really not a fan of sienna. I feel like it’s had its day.

Love autumn, too. I think it’s hilarious that someone thinks people will struggle to spell it! It’s a season, and the spelling is taught in infant school......learning difficulties aside, I don’t think anyone would struggle to spell it.

Peachbubble · 25/08/2019 19:12

India and Autumn are my favourites

Shadow1234 · 25/08/2019 18:14

Autumn is a beautiful name
Maddison is my second favourite

userabcname · 25/08/2019 18:05

I love Liberty- my favourite on your list.
India - this is ok, I like it but don't love it.
Madison - nice, I think it's got a 90s vibe but nothing wrong with that.
Sienna - not a fan.
Autumn- lovely, my second favourite.
Adelaide - I like this too, don't hear of many of them but not too out there.
