Hi, this is my third thread asking for name help for my triplets who will be coming this week! We can’t decide whether to go for a Spanish theme (as my side of the family is Spanish) or not so please rate the names below to help us come to a decision:

Boys:
Mateo
Thomas
Brody
Diego
Max

Girls:
Aurora
Liliana
Logan
Inès
Ivy
Maia
Anais
Violet
Leila
Isla

Please feel free to suggest more name as there is not one name the whole family has agreed on yet Confused Smile

Aurora, Anais, Violet, Mateo

17caterpillars1mouse · 20/08/2019 21:16

From your boys I love Mateo (it's gorgeous) and like Thomas. Not a fan of the others, especially Diego

From your girls I really like Ines, Ivy and Violet. I wouldn't have Ines and Ivy together though or Ivy and Violet so would have to go with Ines and Violet

sugarplumfairy28 · 20/08/2019 21:03

Mateo - Love it
Thomas - Hate it - boring
Brody - Love it
Diego - on the fence
Max - classic

Girls:
Aurora - pretty
Liliana - pretty
Logan - I thought more boys name
Inès - makes me think of smokey and the bandit and a fat old man
Ivy - common and a bit dull
Maia - would work well with other names ending 'a'
Anais - hate it
Violet - hate it
Leila - bit dull now
Isla - Love it albeit common

tripletmum8 · 20/08/2019 20:22

1 boy, 2 girls. Still unsure on names but we’ll but sure it’ll come to us over the next few days.

Mateo- not a fan
Thomas- was quite common in the 90s. I think its popularity has tailed off but it’s still a classic name imo.
Brody- too American
Diego- no
Max- never been keen.

I’d use Thomas.

Girls:
Aurora- ok
Liliana- not bad but I reckon it may be shortened to Lily which is super common.
Logan- 100% no
Ines- love
Ivy- love
Maia- no
Anais- love
Violet- love
Leila- no
Isla- too common

I’d use Violet and Ivy personally.

What about Alma for a girl? Spanish for Soul.

Ah ok, I’m sorry for your loss of your precious Rosie. [flowets]

MollyHuaCha · 20/08/2019 00:22

The Ines I know is pronounced Inn-ess.

pottypotamus · 19/08/2019 22:30

Hello, congratulations on your triplets! Amazing!
How would you pronounce Ines? I have never come across the name before...I'm intrigued! Smile

tripletmum8 · 19/08/2019 22:28

Schuyler we have a Rosie too who we lost a few years ago. Full names:
Louise Anne
Isabella Eve
Emily Hope
Charlie Jonathan
Rosie Jade
Eilidh June

”we already have 4 daughters (5 if you count my step-daughter) and 1 son“

Can we have the full list of names as you only mentioned stepdaughter Louise and your biological 4 (Isabella, Emily, Charlie and Eilidh) but you have 5 biological children? Or am I getting confused? I have 3 and I always call them the wrong names 🤣 and you’ve got double that already!

SoxonFeet · 19/08/2019 21:48

Please don’t miss the opportunity to use Ines. It’s such a beautiful name. I like Mateo too.

RandDandC · 19/08/2019 21:41

I love Arthur, Mateo, Inés, Aurora and Violet.

namechangedforthis1980 · 19/08/2019 15:40

Love Mateo!

KT2019 · 19/08/2019 15:27

Think all the names are lovely, but just here to correct everyone saying Brody is too American - it's as Scottish as Isla!! Blush

Antonin · 19/08/2019 15:11

OP please do come back and tell us what you have and so we can congratulate you. Hope it’s a easy delivery.

LochJessMonster · 19/08/2019 15:02

I think with the names you already have (Emily etc) then Diego is going to seem odd. Matteo is my favourite of the boys names, and I also like Brody.

Girls - I like most of them, but none of them go with Diego.
I also like Lyla for a girl

IsobelRae23 · 19/08/2019 14:56

I’m no help, my suggestions are:-

Willow
Eden
Savannah
Piper
Harper
Luna
Nova

Avery
Baxter
Carter
Cole
Emmett
Fabian
Gideon
Grayson
Horacio
Nathaniel
Nate
Quinn
Rafe
Reid
Saul
Samson
Seth
Tate

Haworthia · 19/08/2019 09:30

So you have four classic “English” names and one Gaelic - don’t you think Spanish names might sound a bit jarring alongside the children you already have?

Anyway, good luck with everything. Multiple multiples... amazing.

IckleBear · 19/08/2019 09:25

I agree Mateo is lovely

youarenotkiddingme · 19/08/2019 08:40

How about Tomás if there's Spanish connections?

Tomás
Max
Arthur

Ivy
Sophia
Maia

Congratulations btw. Sounds like you've had a massive journey.

LoonyLunaLoo · 19/08/2019 08:35

Mateo, Diego and Liliana
Or
Mateo, Liliana and Aurora

M0RVEN · 19/08/2019 08:32

Oops didn’t see you have an Isabella already .

Now I’ve seen your other names I would definitely choose names that work in English .

And no to Logan for a DD as all your other names are more traditional .

M0RVEN · 19/08/2019 08:30

I agree with the poster who says don’t use the Same first initial.

And also about not having one Spanish name and two English or vice versa. So not Diago, Ines and Violet.

What about Sofía , Gabriella, Eva , Lucia , Sonia and Isabella as they work in both languages ?

Boys - Leo, Hugo, Lucas, Luka, Noah ?
