For a boy. I really like it but wanted other people’s thoughts.

Sorry, can't warm to surnames as first names. It's an American thing to do.

Perform the PM/CEO test on it!

Antonin · 14/08/2019 01:12

How about Seymour?

AntiHop · 13/08/2019 22:11

I really don't like it, and really don't like the trend of surnames as first names.

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 13/08/2019 22:09

Please don't. You'd be better off picking an actual name.

TheYeaSayer · 13/08/2019 22:05

I don’t pronounce it as “soya”, if that helps!

KTara · 13/08/2019 21:59

I don’t like it, sorry

NobleRot · 13/08/2019 21:53

I don’t like those US/activity craft names like Sawyer, Carter, Hunter, Tanner, Cooper. They make me think of Bible-quoting survivalists in lumberjack shirts.

Whoops75 · 13/08/2019 21:50

I like it

SteeperThanHell · 13/08/2019 21:46

I really don’t like it

shellacqueen · 13/08/2019 21:44

It’s like lawyer with an s so I guess it’s like Soya Blush
I still do really like it though

Love it! I was a huge Devon sawyer fan growing up tho

user1493494961 · 13/08/2019 21:10

Dreadful name.

CarrieBlu · 13/08/2019 20:55

I did mention it to my (twin) brother and his response was “only if his middle name is tits”

Grin
joystir59 · 13/08/2019 20:55

Awful. 'Saw yer!

Abouttime1978 · 13/08/2019 20:53

My little girl is called Sawyer, so clearly I'm biased.

If you like it, go for it.

missmouse101 · 13/08/2019 20:37

Soya? Not great.

CheckingOutTheQuantocks · 13/08/2019 20:30

How are you pronouncing it? Surely it's like "soya" rather than "saw-yer"? Either way, I'm not keen - people might think he is actually called Soya if they hear it being said without seeing it in writing.

shellacqueen · 13/08/2019 20:24

Ohhh not a bad name association then Wink
