Baby number 5 for me. Would really like not to have a name that will be shared with others in it’s class at school (I know you can never be certain but, I do TRY to avoid it!), and I also try to avoid anything too common as we have a VERY common surname. Opinions on our current shortlist please.

Patrick
Hector

Quentin
Kenny

Zebulon - Zeb
Vincent - Vinnie
Dexter

Silas
Dominic

Agatha
Marilla - Milla
Adelaide - Addie

Delia
Susannah - Sukie

Meredith
Miriam
Orla

Stella
Robin

Pinkstulips · 04/09/2019 18:27

How is Quentin Crisp relevant? Confused

There are far more current Quentins around ( the illustrator Quentin Blake, director Tarantino etc) that the younger generation will know.

But more importantly, any old associations are forgotten the moment you meet a little Quentin.

I think it's a great name that's due a revival.

MikeUniformMike · 04/09/2019 17:49

The 50 year old Quentins were once young Wink

We have a 7 year old Quentin. I also know a couple of primary aged Hectors.
