Hector is cool too.

Just saw this thread again, and for a fifth baby Quentin is especially cool!

Actually for a fifth child Quentin is perfect!

I like Hector, Quentin and Dexter.

And Miriam and Stella.

We have similar tastes .. lots on your list were on mine.
I love Miriam and Stella, Patrick and Hector.

Also on my list were Joy, and Bridie for a girl, Seth and Kit for a boy

How is Quentin Crisp relevant?

There are far more current Quentins around ( the illustrator Quentin Blake, director Tarantino etc) that the younger generation will know.

But more importantly, any old associations are forgotten the moment you meet a little Quentin.

I think it's a great name that's due a revival.

I think the young generation will think of Quentin Blake, the lovely illustrator and Quentin Tarantino, both of which are pretty good associations

I think it's a great name - classic but not overused and Q is a cool initial.

I don't like Quentin, I was at school with one and he was wet, and I also think of Quentin Crisp (probably my age!!)

I dont really like any of your boys names sorry but I would go for Robyn orla or stella in that order for a girl!

Silas -not super keen, but not likely to be many others in class
Dominic - quite common

Agatha - sounds ugly to me, sorry
Marilla - Milla - I like this and haven't heard it irl; prefer Rilla for short though

Delia - a bit dated? but pretty
Susannah - Sukie - love it, not so keen on the short

Miriam - old fashioned
Orla - lovely name, may be too popular

The 50 year old Quentins were once young

We have a 7 year old Quentin. I also know a couple of primary aged Hectors.
