Love Angus!

Thanks for your suggestions @fitzbilly 😊

Love Otto as well!

Peter?! Peter is quite boring no!?

FeeFee832 · 13/08/2019 19:40

I actually really like Beatrice and was an original name but my husband said it was boring?!

I LOVE Atticus too but maybe a little too quirky.

I'm sorry but Victor is a no go 😂

You probably hate my suggestions Grin

Angus and Archie are better options! I do like Angus.

fitzbilly · 13/08/2019 19:04

Ramona
Brionny
Xanthe
Olive
Indera
Mariana
Marni
Isamaya
Beatrix
Cordelia
Scarlett
And so many more...

Boys:
Peter
Indigo

Thoughts on Angus and Archie?!

Thanks @fitzbilly - maybe you would like to make a suggestion rather than ripping into 'the parents'

OP posts:
FeeFee832 · 13/08/2019 18:51

Thanks @Theonewiththeblonde LOVE Gabriel and love Benjamin!

They are very boring normal names with no personality.

To me they just say the parents have no imagination and play it safe in life.

There are thousands of other names out there to choose from that everyone else doesn't choose.

lanbro · 13/08/2019 18:48

Classic but uncommon at the moment could be Beth, Jayne, Anna, Louisa, Laura
Daniel, Adam, Alexander...not good with boys names I'm afraid

lanbro · 13/08/2019 18:45

Boring and overused. There are so many beautiful names out there why use ones that are 10 a penny?

Theonewiththeblonde · 13/08/2019 18:43

Not sure if these are your taste but
Aaron
Caleb
David
Benjamin
Charles
Edward
Patrick
Theodore
John
Nicholas
Robert
Peter
Gabriel
Alexander
Christopher

FeeFee832 · 13/08/2019 18:37

@Theonewiththeblonde do you have any suggestions?

I can’t stand Grace either. The spelling and sound just urgh to me.
William and George are ok but the one reason I’d never use them is their popularity. What about looking at some biblical names so you can get a classic name but also one maybe not quite so popular?

FeeFee832 · 13/08/2019 18:19

Very unfair to say they are boring or dull and not give alternative names!

Sorry but I hate the name Joy! 🙈

FeeFee832 · 13/08/2019 18:18

@Frith2013 what's an exciting name then?

OP posts:
Frith2013 · 13/08/2019 11:21

They’re not very exciting names.

formerbabe · 13/08/2019 09:49

I like William best. George is fine...solid and timeless, albeit a bit dull.

I hate the name Grace...it sounds so drippy to me.

lucylouis · 13/08/2019 09:44

I don't know why but I've always disliked the name William- George and grace and lovely

Jellycat00 · 13/08/2019 09:28

I'm not overly keen on Grace anymore. Partly as it's so common. William and George are nice (i like Billy), but seem a bit boring. I'm not sure why!

Other ideas....

Ava
Elizabeth (Beth/Lizzie/Libby/Eliza)
Eve
Laura
Rose
Sadie
Hanna
Victoria (Vicky/Tori)
Anna
Alice

Owen
Marcus
Michael or Micah (Mikey/Mickey/Mike)
Simon
Thomas
Danny
Peter
Sean
Jonathan
Sebastian
Ethan

Good luck!

bridgetreilly · 13/08/2019 09:15

I am not a fan of Grace. It is very popular but I think it sounds a bit wet. What about Joy?

Benjispruce · 13/08/2019 08:06

Dislike William. Might be my age as I grew up watching Just William.

IckleBear · 13/08/2019 08:05

I hate Grace too

20viona · 13/08/2019 03:01

I really hate the name grace, don't know why really.
