Anyone like these I'm really keen on one of them

I’d forgotten about Newman and Baddiel! I had a massive crush on Rob Newman so that Jarvis was quite unsettling.

Frith2013 · 12/08/2019 18:26

He’s either going to be called Cocker or asked if it’s always raining.

How about Gervais?

sunnybeachtime · 12/08/2019 10:44

The only person I know who has a Jarvis, has three other kids all with dreadful names, think Kyle, Nevaeh type names. Before that I'd never heard of it.

Morning, spoke to my brothers last night and they said no way are they having a nephew called Jarvis or Travis so now I have no idea, nothing else is sticking!

SweetMelodies · 12/08/2019 00:39

They’re both a bit 90s Brit pop to me lol! But probably wouldn’t be to most people

TwoPupsandaHamster · 12/08/2019 00:36

I don't like either. I quite like Tavis though (for some strange reason) 🤷

Astronica · 12/08/2019 00:33

I much prefer Jarvis.

Tillygetsit · 11/08/2019 23:18

Jarvis is so much nicer than Travis. I really like Jarvis

Antonin · 11/08/2019 23:13

I think Jarvis is fine. Travis is a bit too American West/cowboyish

Mollie3 · 11/08/2019 23:09

Jarvis reminds me of a pets name
Travis is ok, quite uncommon

DramaAlpaca · 11/08/2019 22:21

I don't like either, but if you forced me to choose I'd say Travis.

user1493494961 · 11/08/2019 22:09

Both dreadful.

TinyMystery · 11/08/2019 18:57

Jarvis! Love it.

Both have a distinct britpop vibe though 😂

bubba2012 · 11/08/2019 18:56

Prefer Travis

Littlebelina · 11/08/2019 18:54

Iron man came to mind to me for Jarvis (before cocker). Prefer Travis slightly

SallyWD · 11/08/2019 18:53

I don't like either but Travis is better than Jarvis

diddlediddle · 11/08/2019 18:43

Jarvis is really terrible. It sounds like a joke name to me, like a silly childrens tv character would be called it.

Travis is perfectly nice however. Definitely the better option.

sodrained · 11/08/2019 17:59

@custardcreamzz no idea I can google it my son loves Iron man though but he's only 3 so he wouldn't know about it just yet

OP posts:
custardcreamzz · 11/08/2019 17:39

Isn't Jarvis the AI on the Iron Man films that Tony Stark created?

sodrained · 11/08/2019 17:33

Thanks everyone I know it's a bit out there but I do prefer Jarvis to Travis I think. And I don't know anyone actually called Jarvis? Haven't heard it for years actually Shock

Little Jarvis

Amazing ✨

Lilyrose90 · 11/08/2019 17:14

Both awful

Shadow1234 · 11/08/2019 17:10

I like both, but if had to choose, I would go for Jarvis

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 11/08/2019 17:10

Quite like Travis.
