No Aria
One Thea (teen)
Several Mia from teen to two

Hmmmbop · 09/08/2019 19:20

Aria - 1 (but a handful of Arya's, which depending on your accent can sound the same)
Mia - several.
Thea - 3. I love Thea I would have called DD Thea but a good friend has a girl the same age as DS called it.

User24689 · 09/08/2019 19:12

No Arias or Thea's
4 mias I actually know. in addition there is usually a Mia in every group activity I take my kids too!

LadyGAgain · 09/08/2019 19:09

X2 Aria's at DC infant school. I know x1 Thea. X6 Mia's at the same infant school.

hellojim · 09/08/2019 18:09

Lots of Mias (ranging from babies to about 30 years old) but I haven't come across the other names.

IdaBWells · 09/08/2019 18:06

Tons of Mias, very popular. My dds are 18 and 16 and they both have Mias in their year. None of the other two though.

Mintypea5 · 09/08/2019 18:04

3 Aria's

All 3 are lovely names tho! If you like them don't be put off

MartiniDry · 09/08/2019 17:30

One 51 year old Thea.

Starlight39 · 09/08/2019 17:19

2 Theas (one has full name Althea)
3 Mias and 2 Mayas (the Mayas are pronounced different ways!)
No Arias

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 09/08/2019 17:16

I know a couple of Arya and still never 100% sure how they like it pronounced (Ar-ree or Ar-ri)

lazylinguist · 09/08/2019 17:14

Aria (well, Arya) will have had a massive spike in popularity because of the Game of Thrones character. I don't know any personally, but that's because I'm well past the baby stage - all my acquaintances have teenagers. I expect primary schools will be stuffed with Aryas in a few years though.

Cbeebiesrehab · 09/08/2019 17:10

Aria seems to have had a spike in popularity-I only know of one personally.

I know a lot of babies born recently (about 20!!) and two of those have been Thea. I also know a one year old Thea.

As a teacher, I have met a lot of Mias. It is very popular but probably less of a ‘fad’ name than Aria (sorry I couldn’t think of a nicer word than fad)

mumderland · 09/08/2019 17:02

I know an Aria and one of the children in my DC class has a sister called Thea

Ca55andraMortmain · 09/08/2019 16:56

I'm a teacher and know zillions of little girls called Mia.

I know three Aria/Aryas, all under two.

I have a Thea who is three and know four others - I thought it was really unusual when I picked it but seems it's really popular in our area!

userabcname · 09/08/2019 16:51

Lots of Mias!
I'd say at least 1 Thea per baby group when I had DS 2 years ago.
Not met an Aria.

Thecurtainsofdestiny · 09/08/2019 16:47

Deeandwizzy · 09/08/2019 16:37
