(Thread isn’t meant to offend anyone - MN hates my Dd and Ds names anyway!)

For me it would have to be Cordelia and Juniper.

I'm always surprised at how popular boys' names-that-sound-like-surnames are, especially with unusual spellings, e.g. Jaxon. In my social circle, the boys' names that seem super popular that I just don't get are Hugo, Oscar and Arlo. Nothing wrong with any of them, all perfectly respectable names, but it puzzles me that they're SO popular.

Cordelia is beautiful.

Never met a Juniper.

Rufus - always a dogs name to me

Anything too old man/ old lady. E.g.
Albie/ Bertie/ Albert
Stanley/Stan
Reggie
Mabel
Ethel
Agnes

I'm also not keen on names that hyphenate with May/Mae e.g. Ellie-May, Mollie-Mae, Lily-May, etc.

But if you mean fashionable names then I'd say cutesy names like
Archie
Alfie
Evie
Elsie

What 'hype' is there for Cordelia? Confused
