Uncommon girls name. - Rumer or True

Hi all,

My tiny girls list only consists of:

Rumer
True

I have searched for hours and hours to find some other options to consider and keep coming up blank! Interested to hear preferences between the two and other options!

I prefer uncommon but short and simple names.

Sibling is Arlo!

I REALLY like Rumer, biiiiiig Godden fan over here.

I wouldn’t even consider the celeb culture (and I watch the Kardashians!) because naming your child is way more than that. And if it’s a name that has struck you, let no man judge!

If you’re stuck between two names, wait til baby gets here and muse for a few days. In the meantime, listen out for little gems at the park, in the magazines, during a shopping trip etc and see if any fit your vision of your baby...

Don’t come here, MN is a trove of boring and opinionated dullards with zero imaginations (just look at the EXACT SAME lists that roll out over and over and over..,😴

As for in uncommon and short names - apparently 'bum' is on some baby generator name lists these days. I'm assuming you wouldn't opt to name your child that just because they'll probably be the only one in their school/county/England?

True might be cute at 3yrs old as Tru. At 40 as a professional not so much. If you like Tru as a nn I'd go for Trudy as at least it's an actual name. Nobody wants to be called True - they really don't.

Don't use True. It causes problems with a number of computer systems as it is treated as a logical function.
