Felicity or Fiona?

What sounds better, Felicity or Fiona? Middle name would be Mary. Or should we do something like Felicity Fiona Mary?

Felicity Mary is lovely, classy. A great name.

Fiona is neither of those! Dated and kind of cheap somehow.

Felicity Fiona Mary is dreadful, and a mouthful, definitely don't do that.

Neither. If someone held a gun to my head I would say Felicity but both are very dated and not in a cool way.

I think I’d go Felicity but I do like Fiona.
My only comment is that I’ve know a number of Fionas in my time and the majority of them have disliked their name and have adopted another name in adulthood. Strangely two have preferred Kim

What puts me off Felicity is the shortnings like Fliss and Flick. Where I live there is an abundance of fifty-something Fionas.

Felicity much better, Fiona is a bit of a 40s Scottish nurse name! Felicity Mary is great! Quite like nn Flick like on Neighbours! (Am also 40s which is why I know so much about it! Grin)

I'm a Fiona of 60s vintage. I work in a school and the name does pop up from time to time.

Fiona may be dull, but Felicity sounds very frilly and pompous to me.

Have you considered Flora?

I'm biased, my DD2 is Felicity and she is such a ray of sunshine so I'd vote Felicity.

Fiona is much nicer than fussy Felicity and it goes better with Mary. Too many y's in Felicity Mary.

I prefer Fiona, but think if you want to use two middle names, go for it. Felicity Mary Fiona or Fiona Mary Felicity could be options, to avoid that repeated f sound?

I like Felicity. Saying that I have a couple of good friends called Fiona which I do think is a lovely name, but if it was me I’d go with Felicity.

Fiona if you are giving birth to a forty year old. Otherwise Felicity.
