We've just discovered we're having twins.

One definitely appears to be a girl. The second we're not sure. So is "twin 2" Grin

I have partial french heritage and so love the name Camille. I like Claudia for her potential sister, but don't love it like Camille. Any suggestions? Also keen on Adrianna and love Eugenie, but I think she'd forever get the Fergie reference. Saskia is pretty but not too sure it goes with Camille.

For a brother, bit stumped. Potentials are Max, Harry, Edward, Marcus and Charles. My favourite of those is Charles, but then I can't really have a Charles and Camille...

Any thoughts?

No offense but all the french names suggested by previous posters are so 1950-1990. There are no babies named Elodie or Simone lmao.

Apologies if these names have been mentioned already, but I thought I would throw in a few ideas!

Immediately, I thought of Celeste. I absolutely love it with Camille.

Camille and Celeste.

Definitely my favourite!

I also really like these names for pairings with Camille:
Simone

Lucie
Isabelle
Louise

Happy naming!

"It's going to be one of those "I'll know as soon as I hear it" jobs..."

I don't know if it will to be honest. I think if you really love one name you may only ever really love that one! I feel the same, but luckily I'm not having twins. There are names that are close but not the same.

So, I would say keep an open mind that you may have to pick two "unequal" names. In reality if you have two girls then they will be one their names and it won't mean anything in the long run.

FrownPrincess · 22/07/2019 21:18

Alexandra
Louisa

Isabelle
Anais
Manon
Elise
Eloise

Really liking Camille and Rafe, and Camille and Sebastian.

Still stuck on either Camille and Claudia, or Camille and Saskia...both of which are names I like secondary to Camille and I so badly don't want to have one with a more favourable name. It's so very hard, all the other girls' names (and I know how helpful all the suggestions have been) I don't like anywhere as much as Camille.

It's going to be one of those "I'll know as soon as I hear it" jobs...
