The ones we like are lola , marnie ,ruby, Gracie , Ella , alisia (said like al-lis-iya not al-eesh-a) sophia , Britney , dolcie, and Lauren. Which is the best and worst out of them as we can't agree and she's due September?? Thanks thought or anything would be a help or any suggestions and middle names to? Smile

@Twisique not really overly keen on alexandra I've known one and she got Alex all the time! Went to school with her and she works in the subway near me now! Haha so again known someone and don't really like the name alexandra think it sounds like alexander which is a boy name, I quite like alexa tho then could call her lexi for short but just hate alex😁everyone puts me off names tho used to love the name paige until I met a few and neither of them were nice people.

From your original list I think the best are: Ruby, Ella, Gracie, Sophia.

Lauren is okay but feels dated. I really dislike Marnie (sounds very moany to me), Britney, Alisia, Dolce.

Twisique · 22/07/2019 12:30

If you want to not sound chavvy go with Alexandra Louise, no hyphens.
How about Audrey or Delphine?

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 11:23

@twisique do u not think lexi is abit chavy tho ? Only thing that puts me off is I knew I lad called lex (I know weird) and he was like so weird I didn't like him at all so she might get lex and I would think of him😁

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 11:21

And yeah I quite like lexie/lexi and that sounds nice with Louise! Lois is okay not my favourite tho, not so much clio tho.

OP posts:
Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 11:18

I love (name) hyphenated with Louise tho! Even tho they probably wouldn't even end up using the hyphenated part as no one I know with a double barreled name really does! They just use the first name and the full double barrel one officially.

OP posts:
Twisique · 22/07/2019 11:17

How about Lexie Louise or Lois Louise
Clio is nice too.

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 11:15

@Twisique u know I LOVE that!! really goes only thing is and why I didn't put leonie in this original post is this girl really put me off leonie! Little bitch haha don't think I could use it as she was very gobby and loud it would be like giving birth to her! 🙄 Or I would go for it! (She was the exs ex) and I wasn't really a fan of her! Maybe lola-louise has the same sort of ring to it tho? Not sure

OP posts:
Twisique · 22/07/2019 11:10

I would avoid hyphens, keep it simple for forms etc.

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 11:07

@starkid look her up haha! She's really famous where I'm from, for having sex on reality tv(Geordie shore) think she's expecting her own baby now tho lol, and yeah I like hyphenated names unless u think that's to much?

OP posts:
Twisique · 22/07/2019 11:02

Leonie Louise Surname

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 11:02

@OhTheRoses ee God sorry! Tbh it's alright I would probably be more keen think its just been tainted for me as I was saying by my ex headteacher lol

OP posts:
Twisique · 22/07/2019 11:02

Leonie is really nice.

starkid · 22/07/2019 10:55

*don't know who Marnie Simpson is

starkid · 22/07/2019 10:55

Marnie, with Louise as a middle name or double-barrelled? Nice as a middle name, but I'm not personally a fan of double barrelled first names.
And I don't know who Marnie is, but knew a Marnie who would be late twenties now, and that's the only one I knew

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 10:52

I was thinking maybe marnie-louise ? What do u think

OP posts:
OhTheRoses · 22/07/2019 10:51

My dd's. But she is v posh and v blonde and has an Alice in Wonderland whimsy about her. We know lots of Alice's in their early 20s.

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 10:50

@starkid so do I that's one of the top ones I'm thinking maybe! Do u not think its abit chavy cos of marnie simpson tho? I've only known one marnie like 10 years she was 12 so she'll be like 22 or something now lovely pretty girl she was.

OP posts:
Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 10:45

@OhTheRoses yeah to me it's just like a dead posh even royalish sounding name! Not a fan and she's the only Alice I've known, and it reminds me of alice and wonderland aswell. don't say that's you're name or something?

OP posts:
starkid · 22/07/2019 10:26

I like Marnie :)

OhTheRoses · 22/07/2019 10:21

@bossbabynx5 your comment about posh made me laugh. Do you really think Alice is posh?

Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 09:44

@OhTheRoses and I didn't know marnie was even a name then??

OP posts:
Bossbabynx5 · 22/07/2019 09:42

@ohtheroses omg sorry I hate hate hate alice !! It was my old headteachers first name so just makes me think of her😂nice enough women but makes me pictures a manly middle aged ugly scottish women, and I think it sound quite posh aswell.

OP posts:
OhTheRoses · 22/07/2019 05:20

Google Ruby the maid in Upstairs Downstairs. Why not Alice instead of Alicia?

I quite like Marnie. Knew one in the early 80s and she was lovely.

Sophia, Dulcie (not Dolcie)
