Need a name with a star theme

Right we have a beautiful baby girl who is 2 weeks old, we are registering her birth next week so we need to find a middle name that we both agree on and like..
however there is lovely back story that me and dh both saw a shooting star before we found out we were expecting, so we would love for her middle name to be star themed, something like a star name or a type of star etc, we have seen a lot but nothing is quite right.. any ideas? Thanks!

Why don’t you call her Lady GaGa or Bradley Cooper after A Star is Born Grin

My angel baby is Vesper meaning ‘evening star’ unisex as we didn’t know the sex of our star. Hesper is a nice female alternative. As is Hester which also means star.

ifeellikeanidiot · 18/07/2019 19:11

Esther. Or even better, Hester.

Potatopia · 18/07/2019 19:07

Betelgeuse? (NN beety or juicy)

DennisSkinnersMolotov · 18/07/2019 15:06

I had a friend called Mira - I think it's the Big Bear's eye or something??

JonnyPocketRocket · 18/07/2019 13:37

I recently met a Hesper (not a typo for Hester!). It means 'evening star'.

Skyejuly · 18/07/2019 13:30

Love Halley

Sophronia · 18/07/2019 12:12

Esther
Steren (Cornish version of Seren)

Booboo66 · 18/07/2019 11:45

Greek word for star is also pretty - Asteri (emphasis on the E sound so doesn't sound like asterix)

Thistly · 18/07/2019 11:28

I love the name Roxanne.

Thistly · 18/07/2019 11:27

Esfir, Esta, Esteri, Estera, Yesfir, Roksana, Roshanak.

Names with Persian origin with Star related meanings.

FriarTuck · 18/07/2019 11:18

Surely 'Twinkle' is the obvious star-themed choice?! Grin

ShmooBooMoo · 18/07/2019 11:16

Celeste is my favourite. Means heavenly but stars are heavenly bodies so...
Also, Eleanor is Greek for bright, shining one.
Agree with previous poster that, while Seren looks pretty, it doesn't sound so nice when spoken aloud.
Not sure about Halley (sounds a bit like you're about to say halitosis).

bridgetreilly · 18/07/2019 11:08

Andromeda

fuckingtwats · 18/07/2019 11:05

Stella or Aster (also a flower name)

NC4Now · 18/07/2019 10:47

Oria then?
