My lovely possibly boy matching twins.

Yes????

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
buttyblahblah · 14/07/2019 21:03

I'm in the Midlands, would much prefer Castiel and Balthazar to the typical Jayden/Kayden/Aiden options.

Pinkyponkcustard · 14/07/2019 21:02

Er no for me.

Op why do you dislike your unborn children?

McShakey · 14/07/2019 21:02

Are you a supernatural fan? @buttyblahblah

Pleasebeafleabite · 14/07/2019 21:02

This is Balthazar from Buffy

Sorry and all that

Thaddeus and Balthazar

“Thaddeus is alright for me, Balthazar on a cv sounds too much like an immigrant though.”

That’s the nastiest thing I’ve read in a while.

Anyway, back to the names. I’ve akso got a 3 King as a son.

billybagpuss · 14/07/2019 21:01

As a massive 'charmed' fan, Balthazar will always be the source of all evil for me.

AnguaUberwaldIronfoundersson · 14/07/2019 21:01

@MikeUniformMike what about pliers?

buttyblahblah · 14/07/2019 21:00

Balthazar and Castiel would be lovely! They could be Balt and Cas.

I also like Gabriel, not as keen on Thaddeus.

McShakey · 14/07/2019 21:00

Love them!

finallychangedmyusername · 14/07/2019 20:59

Well I like both! I think they "match" each other, in that they're both three syllables, biblical and uncommon and both have a few options for shortened forms.

I'd probably pair them both with something simpler in the middle though, maybe still biblical but more mainstream:

Thaddeus John
Balthazar James
Or
Thaddeus Daniel
Balthazar Michael

Or non-biblical
Thaddeus Henry
Balthazar William

Congrats, op on twins!

Frith2013 · 14/07/2019 20:58

They’re actually ok.

My ex boyfriend’s son is called Thaddeus.

Itellpeopletogoogleit · 14/07/2019 20:52

Gtfo lol

NavyBerry · 14/07/2019 20:51

They are quite traditional for Poland. A bit old fashioned but wouldn't be considered extraordinary. Are you of any Polish background? Lovely names and must be very exciting to expect twins!

Peanutbuttericecream · 14/07/2019 20:48

Please don't, poor kids.

SoftSheen · 14/07/2019 20:47

Thaddeus is OK, Balthazar might be just one step too far...

How about:

Thaddeus and Edmund
Thaddeus and Benedict
Thaddeus and Maximillian
Thaddeus and Horatio
Thaddeus and Frederick
Thaddeus and Bartholomew

TheoryOfADeadman · 14/07/2019 20:46

@C0untDucku1a my mind also went straight to Cole! 😊

TheoryOfADeadman · 14/07/2019 20:45

I'm also in the midlands. I'm 99.9% positive a lad called Balthazar would have been ripped to shreds over his name at any of our local secondary schools.

Kanga83 · 14/07/2019 20:40

Or Bartholomew as an alternative to Balthazar .Teddy and Bart as nn

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 14/07/2019 20:39

Hold on, is no one else a little agog at

I was very agog

But i thought if i ignored it it might go away

AssangesCat · 14/07/2019 20:38

Hold on, is no one else a little agog at

Balthazar on a cv sounds too much like an immigrant though.

Kanga83 · 14/07/2019 20:36

Thaddeus and Ptolemy
Thaddeus and Cassius
Thaddeus and Atticus
Thaddeus and Maximillian
Thaddeus and Solomon
Thaddeus and Nathaniel
Thaddeus and Thelonius

EarringsandLipstick · 14/07/2019 20:35

@SpanishTiles

James and John are very nice this time of year

😂😂😂 Brilliant!

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 14/07/2019 20:32

Zachary?

SleepingStandingUp · 14/07/2019 20:31

@LittleFairywren not sure they need your sympathy but I'll be sure to pass ito on😂

I think Thaddeus is probsy more usable, but then I need a name to go with it.

OP posts:
Soontobe60 · 14/07/2019 20:30

Oh dear, neither of them are names I would choose. If you're thinking of nicknames, then Baz for Balthazar is also short for Barry. Everyone will assume he's called Barry. Thaddeus shortened to Thad, Thaddy, Thads etc just sounds very very odd.
