Elsie or Daisy?

Stuck between the two, love them equally and can't decide so hoping this thread might sway meGrin

Elsie as I don’t know one. Daisy I have two in my family, and know of several more.

I really like both but prefer Daisy. Both are popular so that is neither here nor there in comparing them.

I’d go with Elsie, but LOVE the name Elise, which is slightly similar. Daisy (along with other flower names) conjure up images of dainty, giggly toddlers and slight built, elegant women. As a 5 ft 8”, solid size 18 whose neutral facial expression is pretty much a scowl, I don’t think if suit being called Daisy!

Oh definitely Daisy... just beautiful ... My old neighbour was Elsie and she was a grumpy miserable lady so it always reminds me of her lol

Elsie. Daisy is just not a grown up name, for me. It's cute on a toddler, but I don't like it for an adult. Elsie is a lovely name that will grow up with her.

I've got a Daisy and she always complains that there are too many in her primary school. I was quite isolated when she was born so I didn't realise how popular it was.

I was surprised to meet a little Elsie a couple of years ago. It was unusual then, but a know a few more now it's getting more common.
I like the sound of Elsie it's cute.

Elsie seems a bit trendy at the moment, old lady chic and I've heard it so many times locally

Of the two, Daisy by a long way. But both are too twee for me.
