Which of these names for a baby girl to honour her recently departed grandmother Anne?

Anna is a beautiful name.

SallyWD · 08/07/2019 09:06

I absolutelyove Anna and Annie could easily be the nickname.

SoftBlocks · 08/07/2019 08:56

Anna or Anya.

lifeofamummy · 08/07/2019 08:48

Annie or Anna!

Astronica · 08/07/2019 08:38

Anna, Annie or Anya are all lovely. Anne seems dull, and Ariana will get lost in the crowd of similar trendy names.

Cookit · 08/07/2019 08:23

Any other than Ariana which I don’t like and people will just think Grande. It’s not a classic name.
I like Anna a lot.

kittytiggy · 08/07/2019 08:21

Anya! Or Annie.

diddlediddle · 08/07/2019 08:11

Anna is classically beautiful. Otherwise, I like Anya, also lovely.

Not keen on the others. Annie is twee, Anne a bit literal, Ariana a bit low-rent (sorry!)

AverageMummy · 08/07/2019 08:03

Anna is beautiful
Rosanne or Marianne would also be nice choices

birthdayblues31 · 08/07/2019 02:02

Annabel

SemperIdem · 08/07/2019 01:09

Anything but Anna. Joint with Sarah as the most dreadfully dull girls name.

I like Anne, followed by Anya.

hmga90 · 08/07/2019 00:58

Ariana is chavvy to me. Anne and Annie are old/fuddy duddy. Anna, or at a big push, Anya

Tavannach · 08/07/2019 00:48

Anna

Shadow1234 · 08/07/2019 00:47

Mamagin · 08/07/2019 00:32

Definitely Anne. With an E.
Then she can pick any of the other names as a nickname.

Babymamamama · 08/07/2019 00:30

Anna

Ploppymoodypants · 08/07/2019 00:29

Love all of them. But Anna is my favourite. A real timeless classic

Ellmau · 08/07/2019 00:20

Anna if it's the first name, Anne for a middle name.

avocadochocolate · 07/07/2019 23:38

Anna. It sounds strong. Or as PP says, Rosanna, Susanna etc

Chouxalacreme · 07/07/2019 23:36
