Stevie is the name of one of the female characters in Schitts Creek on Netflix.
It’s a perfectly fine name in its own right

@PrincessLouis Stevie Smith the poet's real name was Florence! Stevie started as a jokey nickname between her and a friend allegedly because she rode a horse jockey style (very short stirrups?) and her friend said she looked like a famous (male) jockey at the time called Stevie.

I knew a female Stevie but she was Stephanie. I would go for that as it gives your DD options and Stevie is pretty out there

Not sure about the pp saying that Riley and Bailey are obviously unisex either. I’d assume boy for both. Aubrey too.

I really like it (am another big Stevie Nicks fan) but DH hated it so it was a no go for our DD. I work with a Stevie and it definitely works in a grown-up, professional, corporate capacity too.

DS1 is 13, he's very good friends with a girl called Stevie. She's fabulous, petite, funny and just lovely. Her name has caused confusion all the way through primary school and on into secondary. I like the name.

I don't like it but think it's very personal.

I'm not keen on unisex names. Also think an alternative option is needed for when they are older so I'd go for Stephanie NN Stevie.

Sorry I think it’s awful and very chavvy imo as is Billie. There are so many other lovely girls names out there to pick from.

Not a massive fan. It's a little bit chavvy and a little bit cutesy and I don't really like unisex names. But it's not horrible just not my taste

I know of two Stevies both really lovely girls so I associate it as a lovely name

One us named after her Dad
