name for DD!

Currently 32 weeks with DC2, a little girl.
Her older brother is Grayson.
Here are some names we are considering:

  • Harper
  • Anya
  • Natasha
  • Hazel
  • Maya (My-uh)

The name at the top of my list though is Acacia (uh-cay-sha) I just love it! Mum says it doesn't match with Grayson but that isn't really a big deal to me. The main problem is DH is not a fan - it's too frilly apparently and people will pronounce it uh-cak-ee-uh etc.

Opinions / suggestions?

I’m not a fan sorry. But most importantly your DH doesn’t like it, which makes it not an option

Harper struck me as going well with Grayson

But I like Hazel best from your list

I like all the names you listed and think Nathasha or Maya go best with Grayson.

However I agree with your DH about Acacia, I immediately thought about the tree with poisonous leaves.

Acacia is one of my absolute favourite names!

Though, I think it's the kind of name that people aren't sure about until they meet one. I say be brave and go for it!

You can't have Acacia if your husband doesn't like it.

Natasha would be my favourite from your list.

Maya is my favourite of the ones you’ve listed. It’s feminine but strong too.
