Yet again another thread, sorry!
So, with the help of mumsnet, we've finally decided on the name Cassia (Cassie) for our baby girl. It has clicked!

But we need a unique flowy middle name. The following names are not permitted (so basic!)

  • Rose
  • Grace
  • Louise
  • Jane
  • Hope
  • Faith
  • Mae
  • Claire
DD1 is Ivy Sage DS2 is Tommy Jax DS3 is Brodie Grayson

DH has come up with Cassia Fleur but I am not a fan - sounds to much like 'bleurgh'
I am considering:
Cassia Ariel - too much of a mouthful? I think I prefer 1 syllable names with Cassia?
Cassia Jade - fits well I think but is it too similar to Ivy Sage?
Cassia Paige - again rhymes with Sage?
Cassia Sky
Cassia Wren (pronounce "ren")
My sister has suggested Cassia Iris but whilst I don't hate it it seems like an old lady's name.

Give me your thoughts, any other suggestions are welcome of course!

Surprised Cassia Wren is getting so much love! I wasn't expecting that!

Ah Mumsnet at its best op! So useful for baby names.

Love Cassia Wren.

@Fatkins

I'd never even thought of the name before someone suggested on here!

Not Rose, Grace or Mae/May.

Most girls born in the 80s have Ann, Jane, Louise (and, at a push, Elizabeth) as a middle name. Rose, Grace and Mae are the modern equivalents Grin

letsrunfar · 04/07/2019 14:05

Why does it need to flow?

ShirleyPhallus · 04/07/2019 14:05

Cassia Wren is best up there

Fatkins · 04/07/2019 14:03

Oh I'm so glad you went with Cassia! Fab name.

Cassia Wren is fantastic. My favourite there by far. Love it.
