A brother for Robin

We love our son's name, it's popular with young and old, and we haven't yet met another little boy called Robin, and only one little girl. But what could we call his brother? I love that it's a traditional name, a culturally special bird that everyone is fond of, a nature name etc. But also has a modern feel to it. We have a girl's name sorted but really stuck for a boy's name. All ideas welcome!

Torben is a good one as well actually, related to thor/thunder. Could be shortened to Tor or Ben.... I think I'll put it on the list! Thanks Barrybarry

Some lovely suggestions, thanks everyone!
I've thought about Rowan, it's lovely but I agree a bit too similar.
Jem is very cute - I'm a fan of Anne of green gables but wouldn't sell it to dh that way Grin
Would love any more thoughts people have!

Rowan does Rick all the boxes but I think it's too similar to Robin.

Rowan is lovely and ticks all your boxes. I also really like Tristan with its Celtic and mythical roots. Robin is very sweet

Ewan means Yew tree if you like nature names. Congratulations!

Rowan

I cannot help as he is my only but I have a Robin. Like you I only know one girl called Robyn. Ours was as I love wildlife and on DH proposal talk, he started he off saying we could call the baby robin when he heard one singing

I love Robin!

I don't really like any other nature names for boys off the top of my head, but how about;

Guy
Gabriel
Benedict
Hugo
Miles / Milo
Laurence
Rory (I know they sound similar, but I quite like Robin and Rory together)

Firstly, congratulations!

My first choice would be Heath, which means "a moor". I think it's a classic and timeless name.

The 2nd choice for me would be Oliver or Terran.

So, Robin and Heath.
Robin and Oliver.
Robin and Terran.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
