Hi All

I'm due mid Jan 2020 and my DP and I are thinking of potential names.

We have come up with these two so far, we aren't sure of the sex yet.

Boy - Georgie

Girl - Kaylee / Caylee / Kayleigh
This name represents the joining of our names

I love Thea, so would potentially be using it as a second name should we receive a girl, my DP doesn't like it enough for a first unfortunately.

Your thoughts on these would be much appreciated, as will your preference on the spelling.

TIA

georgie is cute but i would put george on the birth certificate, i prefer the caylee spelling. not sure how to pronounce thea? x

Oh nvm I didn't realise Georgie was for a boy.
I would just call him George and use Georgie as a nickname or he'll forever be 'Georgie porgie pudding and pie, kissed the girls and made them cry'

Thea is really lovely.

Kayleigh is ok if a little dated.
Kaylee and Caylee or horrific.

Georgie would be nice as a nickname for Georgia or Georgette

And congratulations!

I agree with PP- George on BC and Georgie as nickname? I'm a teacher and I've taught a lot of girls called Georgie but no boys

Apileofballyhoo · 30/06/2019 12:30

George is fine but I wouldn't use Georgie except at home as a pet name.

Kayleigh looks best to me.

Congratulations.
Not keen on Georgie. I think of Georgie Porgie rhyme and the horror novel/film IT.
Prefer Kayleigh spelling. Don't love the name though sorry though I do love Leah.
Thea is ok.
