Which one do you prefer? DS1 is Samuel.

Could I also have some middle name ideas for both?

Thanks!

Alexander all day long.

CheckingOutTheQuantocks · 30/06/2019 15:05

They're both perfectly good names which aren't exclusively associated with the royals. Fwiw, both names have Greek origins (meaning "farmer" and "defender of men" respectively) and have been popular for a lot longer than the Windsors have been using them!

userabcname · 30/06/2019 14:20

George Alexander is lovely in my opinion! I don't think people would think you're obsessed with royals.

Shelbybear · 30/06/2019 14:18

Alexander is much nicer.

Sophronia · 30/06/2019 14:07

Do you think we could have George Alexander or would people think we’re obsessed with the Royals?

Alexander. Hate George. So fat and stuffy.

AmyMaria2 · 26/06/2019 21:30

George

IThrewItOnTheGround · 26/06/2019 21:22

I have always loved George, and would have used it if I'd had a son. In the event
I never had children, so now I have a snake called George Grin

Good middle names - Henry, Theo, Thomas?

Pinkfinkle · 26/06/2019 17:45

Alexander.

Anothertempusername · 26/06/2019 17:40

George. Every time.

IggyAce · 26/06/2019 17:39

Alexander

schnubbins · 26/06/2019 17:34

Alexander for me too

BasiliskStare · 26/06/2019 17:33

Alexander George ?

BasiliskStare · 26/06/2019 17:33

Alexander

RomanyQueen · 26/06/2019 17:32

George, definitely. We chose it for a middle name, as it was too popular for a first, this was 25 years ago now though, so shouldn't be a problem now.

happyhillock · 26/06/2019 17:30

Alexander for me

IWannaSeeHowItEnds · 26/06/2019 17:28

Alexander. Classic and timeless. George goes through phases of popularity and where I live there are quite a few baby Georges. Not necessarily an issue but I grew up with a name where there were loads of us in the year group and it bugged me.

growlingbear · 26/06/2019 17:25

George Alexander sounds really good.
I like both but prefer George. Brilliant name.

PetrichorRain · 26/06/2019 17:17

Alexander. Or George Alexander worlds well too.

AverageMummy · 26/06/2019 17:16

Alexander but both are lovely & also work really well together

Lycanthropology · 26/06/2019 16:29

Alexander.

Fatkins · 26/06/2019 14:45

Ha! I'd forgotten about Peppa pig. I wonder if that's where the Royals got their names from... 🤔.

Whathappenedtooursummer · 26/06/2019 14:43

Peppa pig. . So neither!

Fatkins · 26/06/2019 14:37

If popularity is an issue, I know three Alexander's under the age of five, but no Georges! I think Alexander is the more popular one where we live.

Peachbubble · 26/06/2019 14:33

George gets my vote, not keen on Alexander at all
