Raphael was an angel too! Raphael, Gabriel and Michael. Plus Uriel, Barachiel, Selaphiel and Jegudiel but I don’t see those catching on in Baby Names any time soon 

I have two DSs and one has Gabriel in his name and the other Raphael. When DS2 was born one of my friends asked if we were going to keep going until we had all seven angels 😂

Raphael. Gabriel sounds like a girls name to me (yes I know it shouldn't matter, but sometimes it does in real life).

Raphael for me, although it’s highly likely he will be known by his mates as Rafa, as in Nadal or Benitez.

Rafael ! Yes it was a turtle and Gabriel was an angel but Rafael is also an amazing tennis player ... not that imma big fan or anything.

Also both names are very classic that's why the tmnt was called Rafael after the artist ??

Yeah he pulls it off just fine.

I like both names but as I have a Raphael, that gets my vote.

(downmarket is pretty much the exact opposite to the rl reaction we experience)

Raphael for me, strong and reminds me of the painter. Gabriel always makes me think of the female name Gabby which I'm not keen on.

He was an Archangel first, and then a famous Italian renaissance painter

All the superhero ninja turtles were named after renaissance painters I think, wasn't there a Michelangelo as well?
