Two flower names?

My daughter's name is Rose and we really like Holly if we have a girl. I always thought it was a bit too much having two flower names, but at the end of the day does it really matter?

Other names on the list are:
Alice
Harriet
Phoebe
Estelle
Amelia
Elouise
Luella
Mia
Belle (probably needs a longer formal name but can't use Isabel or Annabel)
Sibella
Violet

Also, my son's name is Ben. So it would be Rose, Ben and Holly - there is a kids show called Ben and Holly...is that also something we can look past?

Thanks for your opinions!

I can’t see the problem but Phoebe and Eloise are lovely

Ok thank you all!
General consensus is: ok to have two flower names but Ben and Holly is a bit too much🤣
My husband (who doesnt have any interest in names) just said out of the blue that he likes Lillian nickname Lilly. So I'm thinking maybe a Lilly would be ok?

Thanks for the other name suggestions, love Molly but can't use it.

I feel like I'm getting somewhere now 😊

I have two flowers - I was slated on here when I ran it by baby names nine years ago to the point I was told that they'd be routinely ridiculed and that they'd be "utterly mortified"'at having to introduce themselves as a pair.

Nine years later I'm not sure anyone has really noticed. Occasionally someone will pipe up "oh both your girls are flowers!" But I think mostly it doesn't register Smile

My cousin has four girls. All flowers for first and middle names.

Two girls with just first name is fine! Grin

Rak33 · 25/06/2019 23:46

Estelle!

Wallabyone · 25/06/2019 23:44

I really don't think you should have Ben and Holly together! I think that two flower names are fine though.

AnonymousP · 25/06/2019 23:44

How about Polly or Molly instead? Or Ivy?

stanski · 25/06/2019 23:42

Daisy!

MyInnerAlto · 25/06/2019 23:42

Oh yes, Iris is good (just commented favourably on it on another thread)
Aline? (pron Aleen) I think it's French, though the ones i know are German. A bit different from Alice, but similar.

MyInnerAlto · 25/06/2019 23:40

I think you need another short name tbh, one, max two syllables.

Joy
Lucy
Nina ('little girl')
Zoe
Lina (pron Leena)
Clara
Ida
Ada

Rose, not arose!!

PinkSquidgyPig · 25/06/2019 23:38

My daughter is arose. Her BF is Iris. I think they sound good together.
Worth thinking about?

Mac47 · 25/06/2019 23:37

Ah, I was on board with holly until you said ds was Ben...! I really wouldn't just for that reason alone, although maybe it's just because it's a little fresh in my memory.
I like Alice, Harriet and Amelia off your list, don't know any little ones by those names.

DramaAlpaca · 25/06/2019 23:35

I'd be fine with Rose & Holly as they are very different types of flower names, but Ben & Holly is just a step too far, IMO.
