Yes. Be mindful that your child will have to live with your name choice and while Dusty could be cute for a 2 year old, the same cannot be said for a 22 year old.

It's not ridiculous but I always thought it was more of a nickname. It certainly wasn't Dusty Springfield's real name at any rate. I've only ever heard it in real life as a shortening of the boy's name Dustin.
