Can you think of any nicknames?

I like it!

happyhillock · 11/06/2019 14:05

I like it.

I love it, but would spell it will a z. I know 1, he’s English, 40ish and his nickname is not an abbreviation of his first name.

Quite common where I live, in a small, posh, Scottish town. It tends to get shortened to Fraz, in that unoriginal way that teenage boys shorten names to expend a fraction less energy shouting to each other.

It's fabulous! Love Scottish boys names.

I like it very much. I don't think it sounds harsh.

fairybeagle · 11/06/2019 12:32

Thanks, his brother has a classic Scottish name (his dad is Scottish) and I like the idea of both of them having similar. I just thought of it today and liked it but thought it sounded maybe a little harsh/hard..

Good Scottish name. I know lots (no babies, all men - none of them dickheads). None of them really have nicknames unless it's their surname.

HennyPennyHorror · 11/06/2019 11:18

Well I think it's just too synonymous with the TV show. Everyone will thing of the actual show Frasier...even though the spelling's different.

Nicknames...people will call him Frase.

I'm not a fan of surnames as names.
