Naming our little girl Juniper (NN Juno / Junie / June)

What middle name would you pair with this?

We have a couple of ideas but wanted to see what other people think goes, to get an unbiased opinion.

Thanks!

I’ve never really liked Iris as a name but it sounds fine with Juniper if it’s one you like. I think double nature only fails when it sounds like a place or thing ie Hazel Willow or Ivy Rose etc
To me - Juniper Iris sounds fine

Op I think they mean Juniper Joy sounds like Jump for Joy - although I don’t recall teachers and friends ever knowing my middle name tbh.

I love your suggestion of Juniper Elspeth

Thank you everyone else for the lovely suggestions! Really appreciate it... So many to consider! Smile

🙄 morallybankruptme Juniper has been a name for over 1000 years. Saint Juniper was one of Saint Francis of Assisi's most well known followers. Just because you haven't heard of someone very well known in history and religion doesn't mean that everyone will be so judgemental and uneducated. So I doubt anyone will have a 'good laugh' at a name because it's not in the top 20. Please grow up/educate yourself a bit.

Iris works but prefer Elizabeth next to Juniper - you could do both
Juniper Elizabeth Iris ..
as that breaks up the 2 nature names

ThePhoenixRises · 09/06/2019 11:34

Juniper Rose

morallybankruptme · 09/06/2019 11:34

I can imagine clapping 'juniper joy ' to the sound of 'Hercules Hercules ' 😂 ála Eddie Murphy

morallybankruptme · 09/06/2019 11:33

Juniper joy does sound like jump for joy Grinit would give kids and teachers a laugh at school at least.

Some amazing suggestions! Thanks everyone!

I LOVE Juniper Joy but I don't think I'm cool enough to pull it off. Sad

Juniper Maeve and Juniper Rae are really cool too.

I'd considered Elizabeth as I thought that a less common name like Juniper might be nice with a classic middle name , although Elspeth has really grown on me too!

Juniper Belle and Juniper Alice are cute but I can't use it as surname begins with Al and the names sort of run into each other.

What does everyone think of Iris as a middle name? It's a family name which I'd dismissed but keep coming back to as it has a meaning for us. Is it too nature-y?

Another who immediately thought ‘Juniper Belle’ upon reading the title.

Shadow1234 · 08/06/2019 22:44

I wouldn't go with another J' name, it sounds too much.

Juniper Rae is lovely
Juniper Faye?

Depends on your surname, what the initials would be
Ie juniper Anne is good but if your surname starts with M it’d be JAM, not so good!!
