I like Harlen,kodie and Ezra

I also like the names
Arlo
phoenix
Rafa
Arlo and Aysa

Inglenooks · 09/06/2019 21:33

Codie sounds like a girl's name to me, maybe because I know one. Know lots of Ezras through baby groups, nice but definitely not unusual. Harlan sounds like Harley and I'm not keen on either tbh.

sheshootssheimplores · 09/06/2019 21:29

Only one I like is Jesse.

CherryPie400 · 09/06/2019 21:26

I love Ezra!! and Jesse is lovely too.... I think I prefer Cash over Kash, short for Cassius maybe x

Harlen I kinda like but reminds me a little of Harlem, which isn't necessarily a bad thing especially if anyone is a batman fan lol

AmyMaria2 · 09/06/2019 20:45

Cody/kodie
Ezra
Jesse
Kash
Ramsey

These are all really common where I live , especially kashey & Jesse ..
Ramsey not so much but it's awful

katseyes7 · 09/06/2019 20:39

We have a Ciaran. lf we'd had another boy he would have been Danaan. lrish ancestry, though.

maimainomai · 09/06/2019 20:28

Ezra is good imo.

Elijah, Asa, Jonah, Micah, Luca or Milo, Wyatt, Wade, Dexter, Dean, Forrest, Hartmut, Harel, Hardey, Cole, Jensen, Jack, Lincoln, Joshua, Caleb, Hunter, Rhett, Roman, Brett?

FogCutter · 09/06/2019 20:25

Like Jesse and Ezra but not the others.

GreenTulips · 09/06/2019 20:23

I like Cody/Kody/Codie and know a few - it’s a great name

Wereonabearhunt · 09/06/2019 20:18

Quite a shock to see how many people really hate my name lol!! I am female though, I dunno if that changes things. Im Kodie.

I loved Ezra until it became popular! I really quite like Killian.

ShutTheFridgeUp · 09/06/2019 16:26

I have a Jesse! So I'm obviously quite biased!

rwalker · 09/06/2019 16:01

jesse would be a bullies dream at school please don't call him that

If grown ups think this is ok, blame the child not the bully, it’s no wonder kids get away with this crap.

nobody said it was ok but obvouisly in your world you would have the power to stop bulling ,best of luck with that in the real world

Bigearringsbigsmile · 09/06/2019 13:28

Just awful. All of them.
Ezra is the least awful.

Smurf123 · 09/06/2019 13:17

I teach a cody, ezra and a girl jesse..
What about Harley as a nickname for harlan

Sophronia · 09/06/2019 10:11

Ezra or Jesse

Upzadaizy · 09/06/2019 10:09

I don’t want a common boring name for my boy though I’d much rather someone unusual and unique

You know, a person's name isn't what makes them "unique" - it's their character, interests, and personality. Although names can make people appear to be common - perhaps not just in the way you're anticipating.

rwalker · 09/06/2019 07:55

Also think of a 25 year old man being introduced at work as a jesse .

dustarr73 · 09/06/2019 07:50

Lennox is actually really popular where i live.

Grayson
Kobi
Logan
Beck
Beau
Cade
Dalton
Dashiell
Zane
I like Ezra,Kash is awful.Jesse is still seen as a girls name here.

veeboo · 09/06/2019 06:37

I love Lennie OP. Do you dislike Leonard?

Some suggestions:
Hudson (a friends nephew has this name and I've never met another? Maybe goes with your Harlen suggestion
Rafferty
Conan
Ronan
Roman
Caleb

SherlockSays · 09/06/2019 06:24

Ezra isn't unusual - it's actually very popular now, I know several born in the last couple of years.

The rest are too try hard, Jesse is provably the best.

GeorgeTheBleeder · 09/06/2019 06:24

Don’t you mean Harland?

A child is unique because they are themselves. Self-consciously ‘unique’ names inevitably look gauche, and attract ridicule.

NameChangerAmI · 09/06/2019 06:18

Isn't the simple soul from Of MIce & Men called Lennie/Lenny?

If so, I wouldn't want to use it for a child of mine.

Lennox is a nice name, though, but I wouldn't be encouraging the use of the nn Lennie in any case.

PeterRabbitsBlueCoat · 09/06/2019 06:14

Oops, forgot Kash. Isn't one of Wayne Rooney's kids called Kash? That's enough to put me off.

PeterRabbitsBlueCoat · 09/06/2019 06:13

Harlan/Harlen just looks like you've made it up, and not in a good way!

Cody, for me, will always be a girl from Neighbours showing my age

Kodie is hideous

Ezra is nice

Jesse is OK

Ramsey/Ramsay doesn't sound like a name to me, but I don't watch GoT, and i know a village in Essex called Ramsey.
