Help! He's coming in 5 weeks and I really need to narrow it down. Surname starts with W, would like to avoid alliteration really.
To give an idea our short list contains the following;
Lennon
Otis
Elwood....

I think Otis works well and I like it best from your list.

Lex
Fergus
Rufus
Oscar
Jago

For some reason i think a 'j' name would go well, so
Jude
Jacob
Joe

My friend has an Eva and Ruby and gave birth to little Jasper a few months ago!

Otis!

Similar taste. I have an Eve and would like Ruby as a MN for next child. Boy's names I like include Otis and Lucas.

Applesbananaspears · 08/06/2019 23:58

Jeremy is completely wet so no and Cohen is a religious Jewish surname so absolutely not. I would go for a classic like Sam, James or similar

MakeAWhish · 08/06/2019 23:49

Thank you for some fab suggestions. I like Luca and Rex! DP may need some convincing though Hmm

I don’t think Ethan goes with Eva

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/06/2019 18:53

Ethan would go well

mrswilson2 · 08/06/2019 18:50

Cohen , Luca , Rex

Fulltimemummy85 · 08/06/2019 18:39

James
Henry
Seth

Otis is my favourite out of your list, not sure the others go

littlemeitslyn

Obviously because you just posted the word 'Really???' which is a commonly used sarcastic remark used to suggest disbelief at a bad suggestion? Hmm if you're going to be rude on a thread at least stick by your comment! What other reason could you have to literally just post the word 'Really???' and nothing else?

littlemeitslyn · 08/06/2019 17:11

Makeawish Why do you interpret my remarks as having a negative connotation?

Theoldwoman · 08/06/2019 15:26

I'm not fussed on any of your choices.

Your girls have elegant, classical names. Stick to classical and masculine.

Ruby, Eva and:

Benjamin
Jeremy
Adam
Thomas
Elias
Sebastian

Shadow1234 · 08/06/2019 15:18

I really like Lennon from your list.

Matteo
Nico

Otis fits well but for a different suggestion I think James would suit as well

MakeAWhish · 08/06/2019 13:46

@ElfishBiatch Thank you, yes I've been thinking that about the girls names vs boys names. My girls are 10 and 7 and from a previous marriage, I love their names but just fancied something different with baby number 3. Some great suggestions, so thank you. Maybe we'll re think more classic names. We both work in a school so it's really hard to choose names when we feel like we know all the kids names in the universe! And associate each one with a different child!

Otis is ok (although it does make me think of the aardvark). Agree that Elwood would have and alliterative sound with your surname. Not keen on Lennon I’m afraid.

Your girls’ names are classic and traditional but the options you have for boys seem like quite a different style? I think that Luca, Leo, Rex and Theo are great suggestions. I also think Harry, James, Oscar, Hugh, Noah and Zachary would work well.

userabcname · 08/06/2019 13:38

Love Otis! That definitely gets my vote.

MakeAWhish · 08/06/2019 13:35

@Awwlookatmybabyspider @sleepismysuperpower1 Thanks ladies.
