Just that really. Not shortenings, as stand alone names.

I prefer Zak, short for Zakaria (one of the various spellings from Hebrew/Arabic).

Zac reminds me of sac, which in turn sounds very delicate.

Shadow1234 · 01/06/2019 22:29

Zac

Divgirl2 · 01/06/2019 22:17

God I hate the letter Z, this entire thread looks like a zip.

Zac. Zak looks like the name of a 90s kids magazine. Zac is definitely the better of the two, although I prefer Zach.

BackforGood · 01/06/2019 20:47

Just to confuse, I know a Zaq Grin

mamaoffourdc · 01/06/2019 20:25

Zack

MollyHuaCha · 01/06/2019 20:20

Frightenedbunny · 01/06/2019 20:15

TheDuckSaysMoo · 01/06/2019 20:14

Zac - as in Zac Efron

UnalliterativeGeorge · 01/06/2019 20:14

I have a Zach who's a Zachariah.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 01/06/2019 20:12

Zac.

Mrstwiddle · 01/06/2019 20:11

And great name btw

Mrstwiddle · 01/06/2019 20:11

Zac, it just looks so much nicer than Zak.

pikapikachu · 01/06/2019 20:09

I am 40 and only saw Zach when growing up but these days I usually see Zac which is better than Zak imo

HairyToity · 01/06/2019 19:49

Zac

TrixieFranklin · 01/06/2019 19:48

At a push I suppose Zac

BlueMerchant · 01/06/2019 19:48

Zac

Thallo · 01/06/2019 19:46

Zac if you won't go for the more commonly accepted Zach.

Is it though? I know three little Zacs and one little Zak. No Zachs.

popcorndiva · 01/06/2019 19:45

I have a Zac short for Zachary. Zak looks wrong.

user1497863568 · 01/06/2019 19:41

I have a Zach :)

BlackPrism · 01/06/2019 19:39

Zac if you won't go for the more commonly accepted Zach. Zak looks like something out of a 90s TV show

Username12345 · 01/06/2019 19:15

It won't be Zach.

Zak

MikeUniformMike · 01/06/2019 19:08

Zac.

toomuchfaster · 01/06/2019 18:55

The guy I know is Zack as a stand alone. Never seen Zac or Zak, but Zach makes sense as NN for Zachery.

CremantDeLoireSocialist · 01/06/2019 18:48

Zach. The othe two spellings looks weird and he'll spend his whole life explaining!
