If I like Roisin..

Baby due next week.. we know it's a girl.. we really like Roisin.. pronounced RO- SHEEN ( it's an Irish name).
Any ideas for something similar?
Another family member has a DD with the same name and although we don't cross paths very often, I'm still a little loathe to use it as it feels like it's been 'taken' already by them..

I didn’t know that Síofra meant fairy. I always think of it as being quite a serious name. Although, Irish fairies aren’t very Disney like are they? They have a much darker rep Grin

Op I had no idea it was pronounced like that - will it bother you when ignorant people (like me) get it wrong? I don’t think you should avoid using the name - ask them how they’d feel about it they’d probably be flattered

Ceoilin, pronounced Keoleen. Means a little music!

The 'ín' means little as in little Rose so it's closer to Rosie than Roseanne.
