Preggers86 · 25/05/2019 22:13

BumandChips · 25/05/2019 22:11

How about Dizney?

LightDrizzle · 25/05/2019 22:08

”Stripper or prey” Grin
I think people should always steer clear of names that conjure a particular type. Stripper associations aside, Bambi conjures a leggy gangly, doe-eyed ingenue. Your daughter may grow up to be a stolid, tiny-eyed tax accountant working for a big city firm. I can virtually guarantee she’ll have changed her name by deed poll and excommunicated you by then.
She will also hopefully only spend about 20% of her life as a child and very young adult, so don’t choose cutesy names that work for a toddler, choose a name that works for all ages and pick a nickname/ short version for infancy.

3luckystars · 25/05/2019 22:07

Bambidextrous

Proseccofuelled · 25/05/2019 22:05

Terrible
If you have to I’d have it as a nickname - not sure what for though maybe Amber

CarolDanvers · 25/05/2019 22:04

Eh?!

No.

Moonflower12 · 25/05/2019 22:01

And poor Bambi loses his mummy!

Saddest film ever.

It also makes me think of the very athletic girl villain in one of the Bond films.

NameChangedNoImagination · 25/05/2019 21:56

I LOVE it, but it doesn't work in the UK. I also love Barbie but that doesn't work in UK either. So I guess my imaginary American twins are Bambi and Barbie.

BumandChips · 25/05/2019 21:49

No.

StoatofDisarray · 25/05/2019 21:21

A prostitute.

SunshineCake · 25/05/2019 21:16

I'm embarrassed for you, OP.

Mummyoftwo91 · 25/05/2019 21:15

Stripper name

mondaysaturday · 25/05/2019 21:14

Jesus wept.

hsegfiugseskufh · 25/05/2019 21:14

Its my nickname (nothing at all like my real name actually!) And ive had many a funny look from people when ive been called it in public so id say dont use it as a proper name!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 25/05/2019 21:13

Although I'd put it on a girl not a boy.
I fear a boy named Bambi would be teased mercilessly.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 25/05/2019 21:12

Her name is Bambi??

kaytee87 · 25/05/2019 21:06

Seriously?

Purplehammer · 25/05/2019 20:42

After the family murders.?
Please no, that’s sadistic.

GrannyHaddock · 25/05/2019 20:24

Dumbo is very good, but Bimbo might work better.

Carolcool · 25/05/2019 19:54

No no no

WhatWouldChristineCagneyDo · 25/05/2019 19:45

A name like that could cast a shadow over her whole life and limit her prospects. She's going to struggle to be taken seriously with a name like that.

Give your head a wobble.
