Give me a good red herring to through into the mix

So my mother seems to have this weird idea that her opinion is of the utmost importance when it comes to us naming DC3 Hmm
If we refuse to share any of our potential names she gets a proper cob on, and when we do tell her of names we like she turns her nose up and them and says “eww no.” Hmm
Her opinion on the matter will not make a difference to our choice whatsoever - it will be a “this is the baby, and her name is...” situation, same as it was with DCs 1 & 2.
But someone hit me with a couple of good red herring names I can throw into the mix either to make her clutch her pearls even tighter or give her a sense of security that we are considering a very “normal”, old fashioned name.
It’s honestly as if she expects us to name this baby “Tracey” or something that was common for her generation Hmm

Kipper? (if it's good enough for Oxford Reading Tree...)

Ridiculous name. Totally unsuitable for a girl. Valhalla's baby will be called Biff, of course.

Insomnia. So under-used, yet so pretty sounding and suits so many babies ...

I wouldn’t throw in plain ones I’d do the opposite & have a whole list of ludicrous alongside yours then she’ll be relieved Grin

Omg absolutely howling at “Candida”Grin

My mum isn’t British, so the association with the itchy flange would probably go right over her head and she’s think it a lovely name Grin
