India or Claudia?

Title is pretty much self explanatory- we're having a little girl at the end of September and there's only ever been two contenders for a girl's name. We both like both names completely equally and can't pick between them.

So which do you prefer? I'm worried about it being trendy but India seems a bit cooler...and I'm about as edgy as a beach ball so she'll need all the help she can get in that arena.

Her last name will be double barrelled, so whilst I love Claudia it might be a bit telegraph birth announcement-y. Middle name will be Elizabeth.

Thanks in advance!

Claudia Elizabeth. Unless India has some significance. If I'm honest I think it's just a bit of a no naming babies after places if you've never been or have any plans to go. Sorry.
I love Dakota for a girl but the fact I've never actually been to Dakota would put me off ( if that makes sense Grin)

Have you been to India or does it have some kind of significance to you?

I like Claudia better. Claudia Elizabeth is really elegant and timeless. She's also less likely to be in a class with multiple Claudias than she is India/Indy/Indianas.

Claudia means “lame one” I think, not sure if that may influence your decision.

I prefer Claudia.

I like India Elizabeth the best
