Now you know the Royal baby name, what do you think they would have called a girl?

I think Archie is cute but I was very surprised by the choice. What type of girls name do you think they would have chosen? I don't think they were going for the very 'royal' names. I think it could have been something like Ruby, Isabelle, Lucy? Whereas before the name was announced I was expecting something like Elizabeth, Victoria, Alexandra etc...

I'm sure she'll churn another one out maybe late next year and it will of course be a girl so you'll find out then!!

Something very modern, popular and cutesy like Molly or Ellie (or possibly Ivy) followed by Diana.

Sparklysunflower · 10/05/2019 14:07

Something like Ellie Madison or Millie Ellison?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 10/05/2019 14:03

Doris, Hilda or Fleabag.

StillIRise87 · 10/05/2019 14:02

Ellie-May or Molly-Rae for the American angle and short for Rachel.

dolphin50 · 10/05/2019 13:58

I can't imagine Archie and Victoria going together so I think it will be a short kid like name like Archie and Ellie or Archie and Molly

Flamingosnbears · 10/05/2019 10:20

I thought Maisie too...

IhavetoD0something · 10/05/2019 07:03

I suggested Rosa a few days before baby born and mumsnet deleted my post.

Meghan's first name is Rachel. Meghan is her middle name.

mammmamia · 10/05/2019 04:36

How is Archie an anagram of Meghan?

floraloctopus · 10/05/2019 03:55

Bella Grace

Tavannach · 10/05/2019 03:26

Love Ruby!
I'd go for Nancy or Rosa.

50shadesofgreyrock · 10/05/2019 03:23

Phoebe Margaret.

dolphin50 · 10/05/2019 03:10

With a name like Archie Harrison I doubt they will go for an Alice, Elizabeth or Victoria. I imagine they could do a honouring thing for their mums in their name but naming a baby Archie as the full name, only one middle name which for them has never happened before and it being Harrison means they could go for anything. Molly, Madison etc.

mathanxiety · 10/05/2019 00:59

Daisy May

Chilledout11 · 09/05/2019 23:43

Anna or Florence or Violet

jessicawessica · 09/05/2019 23:42

Kim or Kylie

Bumblebeesmum · 09/05/2019 23:39

Archie is one letter off an anagram of her name with the middle name being practically his....

So I’d go with the opposite:

Harriet Gemma
