Third trimester, no name! Not even a shortlist.

If you were to have a baby boy tomorrow what would you call him?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I love Bertie but I can’t say it properly in my cockney accent. Such a shame as would have suited my youngest son. (We went with Leonard instead)

Mammyloveswine · 07/05/2019 22:52

Bertie... was on my list but didnt go with our surname.

Or Joseph.. love it as its so traditional but not dated at all.

BellMcEnd · 07/05/2019 22:51

Josiah, Casper or Rowan

DH would choose Gabriel

My DS is Saul and I struggle to think of any boy's names that I like as much.

Some suggestions for you OP:
Daniel
Elijah
James
Joel
Kit (but I'd use Christopher on the birth certificate)
Leo
Max
Reuben
Toby
Zack

I'm not a fan of "old man" names and please not another George or Ben, there are SO many at baby and toddler groups!

Sid is a good name imo!

wineandcatsandlego · 07/05/2019 21:58

I love love love Sid. It sounds awesome with our surname. Great for a baby, great for a toddler, I imagine a cool strapping teenage Sid then an intelligent, handsome adult Sid Grin. A name for all ages! DH was very much on board but made the mistake of mentioning it to people.... the amount of odd looks we got put us off Sad. Arthur James is now frontrunner for our soon to be here boy but fully depends on Royal baby name, not wanting to match!

AGoodWench · 07/05/2019 21:50

Today I'm liking Douglas and Ezra.

I've liked Douglas for ages as a retro style name.

I've only just warmed to Ezra so I don't know if it will last!

Had a baby boy last week, named him Aidan.

outvoid · 07/05/2019 12:07

Sebastian or Henry. My DP sadly vetoed Sebastian for our DS but I got it in there as a second middle name Wink.

Possibly Jude or Henry. Freddie (Frederick) if it wasn’t already a family name.
I really love Ronnie but don’t think I’d use it.
