Hi all, I'm expecting a girl and have wanted the name Rose since forever, but have noticed that the name suddenly seems really popular where I live. Is that the case everywhere? Will she be one of several girls called Rose everywhere she goes?

Rose and Rosa are both beautiful - I slightly prefer Rosa.

Make sure you also like Rosie - she will get that more than rose!!!

Very pretty name.

I love it, if I'd had a daughter I would have called her Rose, but I'm biased it was my lovely mothers name.

I know quite a few Rosies, but not Rose on its own. I like it.

Think it’s the most common middle name but not that common as a 1st - I love it !

Thanks! Don't mind the middle name popularity but yes Rosa is lovely.

By the way I think it’s absolutely gorgeous. Don’t likeRosie though

In my area it’s not common as a first name, but very much as a middle. I know of a young Rosie but no one who is just Rose

I haven't come across any lately, although I get the impression it's an incredibly popular middle name.
I personally prefer Rosa and Rosalie. Might they be an option?
