Which of these do you prefer or are all awful?

But Giles in Buffy wasn’t called Giles! His name was Rupert!
Giles was his surname.

Miles is the best

Miles.

Niles isn't a name AFAIK. Giles is a bit wanky.

CocoLoco87 · 04/05/2019 21:31

Miles would be my favourite. I don't like Niles. I would definitely think 'Farmer Giles' but I do like it i also secretly fancy Giles Coren

miamiibiza · 04/05/2019 21:27

Miles

Timmythyme · 04/05/2019 21:25

Love Niles or even Nile. Miles is ok. Giles is posh and wet territory.

SpeedyBojangles · 04/05/2019 21:22

Those who've never heard of Niles as a name never watched Frasier??

Niles and Giles from two of my favourite TV shows (Frasier and Buffy), but I prefer Miles to them both.

Disfordarkchocolate · 04/05/2019 21:20

Giles. Buffy fan here Smile

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 04/05/2019 21:19

None!

DramaAlpaca · 04/05/2019 21:19

Giles, then Myles (spelled that way) but not Niles.

Moominfan · 04/05/2019 21:17

Niles

MooBaaLaLaLa · 04/05/2019 21:11

I love Giles! (Buffy fan) It was in the list for our DS.
Myles is ok but not keen on Niles.

HappinessIsKey · 04/05/2019 21:09

I love Miles 😊 would of been on our list but our surname starts with an M, so had to be ruled out!

happymummy32 · 04/05/2019 20:58

Miles but prefer Myles spelling.

Sophronia · 04/05/2019 20:55

I love Miles

MrsBertBibby · 04/05/2019 20:52

Giles is rhyming slang for piles.

And is hideous anyway.

TempsPerdu · 04/05/2019 20:51

Not keen on any of those I’m afraid. But I did once teach a lovely Nils (pronounced ‘Neels’ - Norwegian origin) and thought that was quite nice.

clutterqu33n · 04/05/2019 20:50

I like Niles. cool name!

Calixtine · 04/05/2019 20:49

MILES!

Love it, really dislike the others though sorry.

NameChangedNoImagination · 04/05/2019 20:44

I like Niles and Giles.

Lacypants · 04/05/2019 20:36

Miles, like Miles Morales, Spider-Man.

MollyYouInDangerGirl · 04/05/2019 20:30

I really dont like any but the order for me would be:

  1. Miles - dislike but kind of popular. Didnt John legend and chrissy Teigen use this name for their son?
  2. Niles - is this a real name?
  3. Giles - old posh farmer as pp said above
Shelbybear · 04/05/2019 20:29

Miles by far out of those 3.

WarCat · 04/05/2019 20:28

I love Miles

BlueMerchant · 04/05/2019 20:25

Miles is best
Niles is strange
Giles is a farmer

SwedishEdith · 04/05/2019 20:25

Not Giles.
