DS due in October, have a DD named Macey-Jane (hence name change, also don't need the 'tacky hyphenated name' comment either) 😁

But would LOVE some name suggestions for our little boy please! Cant find anything I love...

Rated out of 5 we like
Kobey 4/5
Jayden 3/5
Freddie 3/5
Brody 3/5
Theo 3/5

Last name begins with T 😁💙
Thanks in advance xx

Really not keen on Koby or Jayden personally as they do feel a bit naff/chav to me. I really like Freddie, Brody/Brodie & Theo though!

What about Koa? I know a couple, and they are lovely little boys. It’s a Hawaiian name and also a type of tree they use to make surf boards.

@midsomermurderess yes very mature of you.

@BlackType iv only ever met 1 Kobey I thought it was a new name to be honest, he is a very nice young boy with good parents in high earning jobs. I think it may depend on the area you come from maybe? 😊 I think thats why Im not 100% on the name though as it does remind me of some of the chavvy names I have heard before x

@AliciaJohnson well I really hope you don't teach my DC then if your pre-judging your pupils already from their names 😉 xx

I really like Cayden actually. Quite popular in the US.

Aidan
Ezra
Leo

And a wildcard:

Andrew shortened to Drew ( means manly/ brave.)

I was taking the piss.

BlackType · 04/05/2019 22:34

Not following you, @Midsomermurderess . Koby will be judged as a troublemaking chav before anyone has even met him. I can't see him being very grateful for that, really.

Cayden is a made-up name, surely. Jayden ought never to have been made up. Ditto Brody and Kobey. I am not a teacher, but if I were, I'd dread teaching children with these names. Freddie and Theo are fine.

BlackType · 04/05/2019 21:52

Go for Koby. It's super. He'll thank you for it

He really won't @Midsomermurderess

Lara53 · 04/05/2019 21:24

Cayden/ Caden

nameschangedtopost · 04/05/2019 21:24

Thank you for all of the suggestions! Will go through them with DH when we get a second and let you all know what we come up with hopefully! 😁 xxx

Of those suggested above I'd personally go for Laurie!

Koby is lovely.
