So, here it is, the fourth(!!!) Guessing Game baby names thread. Shock

All credit to @scotstar for creating the game, back in March 2018. Can't believe how far we've come!

Previous threads here:

1: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3189874-guessing-game

2: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3207745-Guessing-game-II

3: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3262724-Guessing-game-III?pg=1â„´=

The game is simple. Guess the name the poster is describing, then it's your turn! Make the clues as fiendish as you like. Grin

All are welcome to join in! @FintyTin, @Ladywillpower, @LadyGAgain and @DuggeeHugs, come join! (Plus others I've forgotten)

This old German name opened Pandora's box in 1929. Her royal connections meant that she waltzed off to one of the Channel Islands with the Doctor.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter has guessed Clara!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Ellmau · 26/07/2019 08:32

No.

A feline autobiographer.

LadyGAgain · 25/07/2019 23:00

Dee-Dee

Ladywillpower · 25/07/2019 22:35

Scarlett?

finallychangedmyusername · 25/07/2019 20:46

Viola?

Ellmau · 25/07/2019 20:19

Guess based on the Christmas song ;)

New clue:

Twin daughter.

finallychangedmyusername · 25/07/2019 19:33

Well done Ellmau Grin

Ladywillpower · 25/07/2019 09:25

Well done Ellmau!
Fairytale Of New York which featured Kirsty Macoll was the Christmas song.
Kirsty Young was the presenter of Desert Island Discs (idyllic spot) following Sue Lawley.
The sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher partnered Brendan Cole from NZ) on Strictly Come Dancing.
Kirstie Allsopp presented property programmes with Phil Spencer (Scottish Duke-Duke of Edinburgh / Prince Philip).
Over to you!

Ellmau · 25/07/2019 08:40

Kirsty?

Ladywillpower · 25/07/2019 04:45

Not Holly but close.
My radio appearances were in an idyllic spot!

LadyGAgain · 24/07/2019 20:01

Holly?

Ladywillpower · 24/07/2019 07:41

Another of my TV namesakes has partnered a Scottish Duke.

Ladywillpower · 23/07/2019 20:10

Not Mel.
It is a rather atypical Christmas song!

finallychangedmyusername · 23/07/2019 19:27

Mel?

OP posts:
Ladywillpower · 22/07/2019 08:48

Ooh I didn't know that about "The Benjamin".
New clue
I featured on a popular Christmas song. On the radio I followed a Sue & on TV have partnered an antipodean!

finallychangedmyusername · 22/07/2019 07:10

Also 'the Benjamin' is often considered the youngest of the family ('young un').

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 22/07/2019 07:08

You got it @Ladywillpower!

OP posts:
Ladywillpower · 21/07/2019 20:33

Composer - Benjamin Brittain
Rabbit - Benjamin Bunny
Big screen character - Benjamin Button

Ladywillpower · 21/07/2019 20:23

Benjamin?

finallychangedmyusername · 21/07/2019 20:14

A persistently popular name for this young 'un. These three alliterative boys are a British composer and rabbit and a young boy on the big screen (or is he older than he first seems?)

OP posts:
Ladywillpower · 21/07/2019 19:22

Well done finally!
The MP (for Bristol) was the philosopher Edmund Burke.
Over to you

finallychangedmyusername · 21/07/2019 18:00

Edmund? (Blackadder, Hillary, Kyle, not sure about the mp?!) Grin

Ladywillpower · 20/07/2019 10:25

Another clue
An "historical comedian" I was recently active in SW19. I have scaled mountains & represented a South West constituency in Parliament.

finallychangedmyusername · 20/07/2019 08:46

Well played @Ladywillpower, the teacher is Miss Honey in Matilda (with her Aunt, the detested headmistress, The Trunchbull). Jamie Oliver's daughter Poppy has Honey as one of her names. Honey is sweet!

OP posts:
Ladywillpower · 20/07/2019 04:01

Honey?

finallychangedmyusername · 19/07/2019 19:08

Of course!

Right, I'm back to my 'seasonal' clues/names - since school's nearly 'out for the summer': ConfusedGrin

Adored teacher with unfavourable relative has links to a campaigner for healthier eating. For some this one's just too sickly sweet though.
