So, here it is, the fourth(!!!) Guessing Game baby names thread. Shock

All credit to @scotstar for creating the game, back in March 2018. Can't believe how far we've come!

Previous threads here:

1: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3189874-guessing-game

2: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3207745-Guessing-game-II

3: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3262724-Guessing-game-III?pg=1â„´=

The game is simple. Guess the name the poster is describing, then it's your turn! Make the clues as fiendish as you like. Grin

All are welcome to join in! @FintyTin, @Ladywillpower, @LadyGAgain and @DuggeeHugs, come join! (Plus others I've forgotten)

LadyGAgain · 19/11/2019 00:53

Here goes!

I died in the makings of a bird.
I am human and my songs are heard.
A heart throb in the 90’s I think you will agree. You found me on Saturdays on your TV!

Yay, the thread is back! Eagerly awaiting the next clue Grin

Tuppence Middleton starred in the 2019 Downton Abbey film.
Well done Lady G & over to you.

Ladywillpower · 18/11/2019 00:41

Yes Tuppence! Tuppence Middleton starred in the Downton Abbey film.
Well done Lady G over to you.

LadyGAgain · 17/11/2019 23:36

Or if not the character, Tuppence (Middleton)

LadyGAgain · 17/11/2019 23:33

Lucy?

Ladywillpower · 17/11/2019 16:32

Not Penelope.
The big screen film follows on from a very popular tv series.

Ellmau · 17/11/2019 16:13

Penelope?

Ladywillpower · 17/11/2019 15:52

Not Penny but close!

Ellmau · 17/11/2019 14:29

Penny?

Ladywillpower · 16/11/2019 22:19

Sorry I went AWOL for a bit.
New clue
I may be small change but I have recently starred on the big screen!

finallychangedmyusername · 02/11/2019 12:07

You got it, @Ladywillpower! Tristan and Isolde was the story about her being intended for another. The meanings of the name Tristan are either sadness "triste" else noisy. There was a Tristan at the realm of King Arthur and finally Tristan was a character portrayed by Brad Pitt in the 90s western Legends of the Fall.

Well played, here's the baton! Grin

OP posts:
Ladywillpower · 02/11/2019 07:22

Tristan?

finallychangedmyusername · 30/10/2019 18:26

His Wild West portrayal was in the 90s.

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 28/10/2019 18:16

He's been a knight and in the Wild West.

finallychangedmyusername · 26/10/2019 09:11

Haha, I'd forgotten that Practical Magic and Hocus Pocus are two separate films. (REALLY sleep deprived!)

Here's another:

He feels sad, in part about Izzy being intended for another. Others say he's noisy.

Ladywillpower · 26/10/2019 08:35

Well done finally!
Winifred was a martyred Welsh princess.
Winifred Sanderson was one of the Salem Sanderson sisters in the film Hocus Pocus.
Winifred Banks is a supporter of Women's suffrage in the film Mary Poppins.

finallychangedmyusername · 26/10/2019 07:58

I must go and watch Practical Magic again soon... what a great film!

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 26/10/2019 07:56

Winifred?

OP posts:
Ladywillpower · 25/10/2019 13:03

It is the time of year for my scary sisters & I to reappear!

CravingCheese · 25/10/2019 10:48
