So, here it is, the fourth(!!!) Guessing Game baby names thread. Shock

All credit to @scotstar for creating the game, back in March 2018. Can't believe how far we've come!

Previous threads here:

1: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3189874-guessing-game

2: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3207745-Guessing-game-II

3: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3262724-Guessing-game-III?pg=1â„´=

The game is simple. Guess the name the poster is describing, then it's your turn! Make the clues as fiendish as you like. Grin

All are welcome to join in! @FintyTin, @Ladywillpower, @LadyGAgain and @DuggeeHugs, come join! (Plus others I've forgotten)

And since @Ladywillpower correctly guessed @FintyTin's last clue, this is @Ladywillpower**'s latest clue:

This old German name opened Pandora's box in 1929. Her royal connections meant that she waltzed off to one of the Channel Islands with the Doctor.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter has guessed Clara!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
EssJayyCee · 07/05/2020 20:19

Astrid

Ladywillpower · 07/05/2020 12:15

Not Shakira or Tina.
This lady has astrological connections!

EssJayyCee · 07/05/2020 09:17

Tina?

finallychangedmyusername · 07/05/2020 08:21

This thread is really helping me with a great distraction from everything else at the moment: the news/crisis, work, "home schooling" (ha!), potty training! Thank you all. Smile

Shakira?

Ladywillpower · 04/05/2020 23:44

Third time lucky for this lady when she won the coveted prize!

LadyGAgain · 04/05/2020 20:50

Lol @finallychangedmyusername - totally!! Not saving any money in lockdown as the food (and wine) bill is through the roof!!

Beavers badges are our saving grace. Easier than home schooling but just as valuable!

Still thinking. I can't get past Elsa especially after the most recent clue!! And of course that's not right...

finallychangedmyusername · 04/05/2020 20:28

Gloria?

Glad to hear everyone is ok. @LadyGAgain I'm in the same boat... work is manageable, kids not so much! Grin: constant snack demands and refusals to do maths, ah the joys!

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 02/05/2020 15:36

The working from home I'm finding ok. Chuck a few small humans in and I'm frazzled. Beyond all doubt!! Glad you're well. I'll let thinking again!

Ladywillpower · 02/05/2020 11:32

Oops sorry I got waylaid by this working from home malarkey!
Sorry none of the above suggestions.the songstress is somewhat "spirited" .

LadyGAgain · 02/05/2020 08:49

Hello @Ladywillpower - hoping you're ok

LadyGAgain · 26/04/2020 23:28

Elsa

Ladywillpower · 26/04/2020 19:15

Not Beyonce or Celine.

finallychangedmyusername · 26/04/2020 07:27

Celine? (Almost 'feline!)

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 25/04/2020 21:02

Beyoncé

Ladywillpower · 25/04/2020 20:27

Eartha even!

Ladywillpower · 25/04/2020 20:27

Not Taylor or Eat the.
The cat is a big cat.

Ellmau · 25/04/2020 18:48

Eartha

LadyGAgain · 25/04/2020 10:03

Taylor

Ladywillpower · 25/04/2020 07:49

This cat may be a legendary songstress!

Ladywillpower · 22/04/2020 23:28

Phew! Well that was definitely a team effort.
I will fire up the little grey cells & be back with a new clue tomorrow.

finallychangedmyusername · 22/04/2020 22:51

Well done @Ladywillpower!

OP posts:
Ellmau · 22/04/2020 22:15

And obviously no one would pick it now bc of coronavirus even if there was another coronation in the near future.

Ellmau · 22/04/2020 22:14

YEs, Coronata.

Obviously you got the coronation clue easily, but I admit quite an obscure name. I saw it once in a baby name book, and there are a handful of entries on freebmd.

Ladywillpower · 22/04/2020 19:21

Coronata?

BurtonHouse · 22/04/2020 19:20

Coronita
