Fíadh or Grace

Which do you like best please?

Am Irish, living in Ireland by the way Wink
I understand that Fíadh probably won't travel well (pronounced FEE-AH or Fia?, it means 'wild' so we're considering Rose as a middle name: Wild Rose)

We were (we thought) 100% sure this baby would be Grace but now we're wobbling and I feel weird for doubting a name that I was o definite about (even when TTC) so would love your opinions.

I love it. (And I’m always the one on here hating baby names. Grin) Given its meaning I really like it with Rose.

Antonin don't want to out too much - my girls names are not traditional Irish (but fit well, IMO) but my son is Oisín (Ush-een)

Wouldn't be unusual or usual here I didn't think - just a normal name if I'm making any sense when I say that (I know of one Fíadh who is about 13 now and a neighbour of my PILs) I've never met another. That said, I've looked up the stats re the most popular Irish baby names in 2018 and it's at number 10 Confused. Delighted you think it sounds delightful Smile

Fiadh is lovely now I know how to pronounce it. I prefer it to Grace.

OP do your other DC have trad Irish names?
I think Fiadh sounds delightful. Is it as unusual in Ireland as here? Grace is nice but has become a bit hackneyed.

Know I shouldn't need it but our wobble after our certainty is making me need the validation from others that Fíadh is as lovely as we think. We have three children already and the girls are definitely cheering for a baby Fíadh.
(didn't even consider using Grace as middle name Blush absolutely no idea why it hadn't occurred to me either. I think Rose is beautiful but know it is very very over used as a middle name....)
