et/ette girls names

I am currently in the late stages of my pregnancy and we are still undecided on what we are going to name our little girl. My husband and I both seem to like the et/ette sounding names. We have Harriet high on our list but I recently discovered that my great grandfather was affectionately known by Harry and we already named our dd1 after my great grandmother meaning we would have a husband and wife sibset. I don't know if this is enough to change our favourite but looking into other options. My husband really likes Juliette and I like Violet.

What are your thoughts on the names Harriet, Juliette and Violet? Middle name will be Florence (family name)
What other et/ette names do you like?

Thanks everyone for your replies, thoughts and suggestions on the names. I think we will go with Harriet. It's the name we both like the most.

Love Harriet and I don't think the relative thing matters. DD is Juliet so biased on that one

I don't like the Juliette or Violette spellings.
-ette names seem a bit 1950s - Annette, Yvette etc.

@ScreamScreamIceCream my daughters a Scarlett and is the only one in her whole school that is. She was the only one in her last school too. It depends where you live I think.

OP the other names aren't as common.

I’m not a massive fan of the names on your list. I would pronounce Juliet and Juliette exactly the same.

My name is spelt many different ways - French, Spanish, Anglo, Italian (think ‘necessary on a bike’), but literally everyone pronounces it exactly the same way. Unless they actually are French, Spanish or Italian...

I had a lovely child friend called Odette, which I think is just lovely.

In order, my preference is:
Juliet
Harriet
Violet
Violette
Harriette
Juliette

I would pronounce Harriet and Harriette almost identically but Juliet/Juliette with different emphasis like a pp, and Violet/Violette with different sounds: V-eye-olet/Vee-olette.

Like previous poster, I would pronounce Juliet and Juliette differently.
Juliet is the traditional spelling in England (as in Shakespeare) and Juliette is traditional in France. So I'd probably automatically say ' something like 'zhu-lee-ETTE' for Juliette.

Ditto for Violet (English) and Violette (traditionally French). At first glance, I'd probably say Vee-oh-LETTE for the latter.

Of course, if I was told that the names were to be pronounced differently, then of course I'd do as asked. It would not be a big deal.

Both pretty names...

Harriet is my favourite, but I also really like both Violet and Juliet - the Juliette spelling just doesn't appeal as much. (I pronounce both spellings the same way and haven't noticed a difference in pronunciation by others either.)

I like them all but personally prefer Juliet which I love. If you use an unusual spelling your DD will have to explain for the rest of her life - from personal experience I wouldn't go there.

I don't think the Harry issue is a problem with Harriet at all.

Personally not keen on other ette endings.

I would pronounce Juliette as JuliETTE and Juliet as JUliet. The emphasis changes
