We are due our second girl this month and still haven't settled on a name... Help to at least rule any out/narrow down would be greatly appreciated!!

Our list -

Eden
Harlow
Charlotte
Remi
Valentina
Roma

Any preferences??

Eden - no.
Harlow - no. It's a town.
Charlotte - lovely
Remi - no.
Valentina - no. Too long. Will be Val.
Roma - no. Aroma.

I love the name Valentina. I think Charlotte goes better with Jessica though

Roma is lovely. It is actually an Indian name, one of the names for the Goddess Lakshmi x

I was going to say Valentina but as you already have a Jessica, this seems like a bit of a mouthful! Especially with the similar 'a' sounds at the end.

So I'm voting for Charlotte.

Quite a mixture of names there. Bit of a difference from Charlotte to Eden! What about Harper? Seems to fit your style of list somehow.

Charlotte and Eden are both lovely.
Harlow is a place in Essex not too far from me, seems weird to call a child the same name as a (not that nice - sorry anyone from Harlow) town.

Harlow - place name
Charlotte - OK
Remi - not keen
Valentina - like
Roma - like (despite it being a place name!)

Suggestions... Harriet, Romina, Sophia, Elodie, Marina.

Ahh thank u all for your input! I didn’t know about the Harlow/Essex thing but this has definitely put me off so that is out!

I think it’s down to Valentina, Charlotte & Eden for me!

We have a Jessica already so think will trump for whatever we feel goes best with this!

Love valentina and roma. My dogs called remi so wouldnt use that name for a child

Charlotte and Valentina. I have a Charlotte and really liked valentina but DH said no. :-(

I like Charlotte and Valentina very much. We live in the Eden Valley in Cumbria and there are many, many little girl Edens around here.

Valentina = pretty; Charlotte = nice as well; Eden = makes me think of the Garden of Eden and Eden Project. Both are good things, but not sure if that makes them good names for a person. Harlow = a depressed town; Roma = a minority people that has suffered discrimination; Remi = short form of a word that means 'oarsman' and has been used as a male name for over a thousand years.

I would veto Eden, Harlow and Remi as for me they are all boys names.
Eden- I know two and they are both boys (I think it's a boys name in France)
Harlow is awful, but I also have a friend who named their son it so to me it's a boys name
Remi - as above, I know one Remi and he is a lovely little boy

How about Romy instead?
