Rosaline or Elizabeth?

We’re having a bit of trouble deciding between these 2. Would actually be between three as we’re unsure on whether to go for the Elisabeth or Elizabeth spelling. Have a four year old Margot if that makes any difference. Thanks!

Ah it’s so hard- I think I prefer the nn Rosie to the Elizabeth nns although I don’t dislike any of those but may prefer Elizabeth to Rosaline. Will probably change my mind a million times by tomorrow though

Such a shame your dh doesn’t like Rosalie, it would have been great. Ask him again in a week or so, he’ll probably forget and rethink lol! x

Rosaline would be pronounced Roz-a-line (with the I like eye)

I like Elizabeth, although the very loud performance parenting by a woman in Waitrose last week with a toddler called Lilibet would urge me to advise against that as a nn!

Oh I adore the name Margot! great choice!
I like Elizabeth (spelt with a z) because of all the great nn possibilities, (Lizzie, Ellie, Betsy, Betty, Liza...) I would doubt she will go by Elizabeth when she is older, this may be something to think about?
Rosaline is nice but would create so many pronunciation problems.
How about Rosalie? Rosalie is such a gorgeous name; Margot and Rosalie is great too. I much prefer it to Rosaline or Elizabeth. xx

Rosaline seems made up and sounds like an ointment.
Go for the Elizabeth spelling unless you are from or in a country where it is normally spelt with an s.

Rosalind is lovely.
