Just that really! DH likes Bertie but thinks it ought to be a NN.

Thanks!

Elizabeth?
Bethany?
Any b name if it is just a nickname

DramaAlpaca · 07/04/2019 12:15

Roberta is the traditional one.

Bertie is awful though, I wouldn't want to be called Bertie.

pinkyredrose · 07/04/2019 12:12

Elizabeth. Bertie is pretty horrid for a girl though.

BelulahBlanca · 07/04/2019 12:08

I love Liberty!

popcorndiva · 07/04/2019 12:06

I like Alberta

Jaz32 · 07/04/2019 12:04

I like the suggestion of Liberty as she then has choice of Libby too!

ManoloChooBoutin · 07/04/2019 11:57

Thanks everyone, great suggestions

I think calling a girl Bertie is setting her up for being assumed to be a boy.

Catsandbootsandbootsandcats · 07/04/2019 11:47

I know a Roberta who is called Bert.

SilentBob · 07/04/2019 11:46

Liberty

SheisMammyof2 · 07/04/2019 11:46

I know a Bertie short for Roberta.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 07/04/2019 11:45

Roberta
Bertha

ineedaholidaynow · 07/04/2019 11:44

Do you like Bertie for a girl?

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 07/04/2019 11:44

Albertine (my DS goes to nursery with one). It's becoming popular in East London.

JuniperBeer · 07/04/2019 11:43

Beatrice. Beatrix.

SayNoToCarrots · 07/04/2019 11:42

Alberta / Bertha / Roberta

SnuggyBuggy · 07/04/2019 11:42

Alberta?
