Boys names?

If we love Beatrix, Matilda, Pandora, and Penelope for a girl (with Charlotte and/or Ashleigh as middle names), what boys names do you think we'd like?

We would prefer them not to contain the letter 's', and the would like them to have multiple natural nickname options. Middle name(s) would be Joseph and/or Ashley.

Charlotte, Ashley/Ashleigh, and Joseph are all family names that we would like to include somewhere.

We are really struggling with boys names at the moment, so any help would be gratefully received.

I love your taste in names. We were considering Pandora, too.

Bertie is a fantastic name - it was my MIL's nickname and my eldest dog's name - D Dog is Bertram Wooster , I have a friend with son Albert nn Bertie

Still like john Wink - but I think Arthur and Rafferty are nice - wouldn't choose Barnaby myself but then - not my son.

again best wishes - In my experience the time taken to choose a name before a child is born is wholly disproportionate to how much you worry about it once it is just their name.

Bertie? Reminds me of Dirty Bertie. And Bert from Sesame Street.

Oh! Theodore is also a favourite, but in our local town, he would quickly become 'Feo' instead of 'Theo', and I think that would drive me crackers.

Thanks all!

BasiliskStare, I tend to agree about nicknames evolving. I do think I'd like our little one to have a bit of choice within their name though, just in case they don't like their full given name. Smile

I love Alexander but have a friend who has a grown up son with the same name, so I'm not sure if she would find it a bit weird.

I also love Benedict, but DH has a friend with the name and wouldn't be able to withstand the constant ribbing from his friend. Likewise with Jonathan.

So far, I'm loving; Arthur (Art, Arty), Barnaby ('B', Barney, Bear), Rafferty (Raff, Rafe, Raffy), and Rupert (Ru, Rupe, Bert, Bertie).

Rupert also made me think of Albert, which could be lovely.

I will run these past DH.

Thank you all.
