I have 1 son called Jude and thinking of going with Joe for my newborn. Are they far too similar? Xx

I don't think post matters but do think they sound way too similar to be shouting up the stairs when you want one of them.

Same letter is good for sharing things though and hand downs.

Just label everything J Surname.

What about something like Joseph, Jonah/Jonas, Josiah, Joss, Jory or Joey called Joe for short? Then you/he would have other options if it becomes confusing.
