Felix, Jack or Dominic?!

That quite simply. Due a boy very soon but struggling with names. Husband initially reluctant on Felix due to the cat thing but warming to it now. What do you ladies think??

Jack has been so so popular for 20+ years. There are literally thousands of them. I know lots of people don’t mind popularity but Jack is uniquely, insanely popular. Felix and then Dominic for me.

It’s boring when people try too hard and try and pick really different names and then there are 5 in the class!

Honestly sweetie I always say you should go big or go home
20 other pegs at nursery will say Jack, but if we’re talking later in life a boy named after a Greek god for example would be so cool in my opinion
And maybe you should go with something that is really meaningful to you, I’m not talking naming your son after your dad or whatever but if you grew up watching Felix and the cats and that’s why you want to name him that go for it!! Or whatever you do you but that’s my opinion

I actually prefer Jack, but it’s been the most popular name for about 25 years now so there are simply loads of them.

Dom or Nick are nice nn too.

I love Dominic, it’s cool but not overused. Felix is ok but I think it is becoming quite popular as have heard of a few in the last year. Lots of people associate with cats too but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Jack is boring in my opinion, there are so many of them.

I love all 3 names and so totally get your dilemma! In the end I would probably cross off Jack if it's not your strong front runner because of its popularity. Then I think Felix would be my first choice because it just feels very cool to me, and is just a bit neater and shorter than Dominic. But that's just to separate them as I do think they're all really good.

Go for Felix. Jack is nice but as you know it’s sooo popular, there are 5 in my work (a small shop) and calling out over the tannoy is a nightmare so I imagine how annoying that sort of thing constantly must be for them. All age 18-22ish but I also know loads of younger ones called it too

Thanks all. It's so fecking hard to choose. It was much easier picking a girls name. Boys names are tough! I still feel like Felix is my front runner.

Jack is dull from overuse.

Love Felix. Dislike Dominic and there are so many Jacks that they become Jack P, Jack S etc.

Felix! I looove this name. Second would be Jack, it's a classic and you can't go wrong with it, then Dominic which is also nice but I don't like it as much.
